Roses and Mint Tea

Clean, fresh, and tired
Exhausted but inspired
Finding a new me inside
Bringing out the different sides that I hide

A walk in a forest, to go with the breeze
To smell the flowers, to search in the trees
I take in the nature, it might not be there
But the scent of discovery hangs in the air

I smell roses and mint tea
Reaching out to a part of me
I thought it was it, there was no new ground to be found
But roses and mint helped me hear a new sound.
