Chapter 3- Newby and disagreeing

Reece's POV

I walk into school with my hand in Ruels towards my locker, it's my usual morning routine I guess you could say. " Did you hear that the new boy is starting today?" I ask Ruel who nods his head and sighs, " Promise me you won't leave me for him?" He gives me a sad look I wrap my arms around him, " I would never- because I love you and only you ruel" happy with my answers fine him a smile and he places a kiss on top of my head. " Anyway I'll catch you in art ok?" He nods his head and we head in opposite directions.

For the first class and homeroom all I can hear is this talk of the new kid. Who he was, was he cute did he have a girlfriend? It was so whack not gonna lie. Annie and Mary practically talked my ear off in hopes that one of them would maybe find a boyfriend. I was absolutely sick of it all and wanted the new kid to just show up, but I regretted this decision as soon as I walked into art.

I stop at the door with a shocked expression and he gives me a smirk because sitting there is Samson Gray, Ruels number one enemy and my  number one stalker and jerk.

Why him of all people? I walk past him with my head held huh and take a seat at my usual table, where Sunday and the others are sitting they all start talking to me about it and we all sigh in annoyance until Ruel walks in. He stops as well and turns red I can see the anger in his usually soft and warm eyes and I know this has really hit a nerve for him, so I get up and grab his hand and walk him to our desk. " I feel the same" I tell him and he squeezes my hand in response still eyeing off Samson. And just when we thought the day couldn't get any better Samson became my lab partner and we had to work on an assignment out of school!! 

At the end of the day I make my way to my locker when I see Samson there. " So I was thinking we could work on our project after school?" I give him my biggest death stare by give in and nod my head in agreement, " But we're going to the library no buts!" He mutters out a small fine when Ruels suddenly next to me. 

" Reece wanna head to the beach?" I look at him and sigh, " sorry Ruel but Samson and I actually have to get a project done, but wanna meet at our beach at 5:30?" He nods his head before pulling me close and giving me a kiss and whispering in my ear, " please be careful I don't trust him" I nod my head and kiss him again before we let go and I head off in the direction of the library with Samson trailing behind.

"Can you stop talking!" I say, clearly annoyed at Samson who keeps dragging his foot up and down my leg. I kick him in the shin and he smiles. "Why did you even move anyway?" I ask him kinda curiously, " I wasn't enjoying being surrounded by boys and my parents recently split up so my mum can't really afford to send me there" I notice a drop in his personality as he says this and u feel sad for him. " I'm sorry" I Say he gives me a sad smile. " So anyway what's our calculation at?"

I rush to the beach it's now 6pm and I'm late to meet Ruel. Samson and I actually started to get along and got a lot of our assignment done. I run over to ruel and throw my arms around him, only to have them roughly thrown off. "Your half an hour late Reece" he says to me in a stern tone. " I'm so sorry I got caught up with Samson !sorry my phone died too so I couldn't text you he gives me a sad look. " I thought you would be here on time, I thought you and Samson wouldn't get along" he stutters out and I look at him in the eyes. "Ruel calm down baby nothing happened" I place my hand on his cheek and he peels it off and I start to feel scared. "I don't want you hanging out with him Reece" I scoff at this and place my arms across my chest. " I don't think you get to make that decision for me Ruel and besides Samsons actually pretty nice once you get to know him and we have a project to do! You can't control who I hang out with- you need to trust me Ruel" he just shakes his head and gets up" I just don't know if I can rust you..." I interrupt him " But you can! Ruel I'm in love with you and only you! I don't want anyone else but you so why wouldn't you trust me?" He shrugs his shoulders. I pull his face closer to mine,"I love you" I say in my most demanding voice, he stares at me before finally adding back "I love you too" I smile and he kisses me.
