Scene: Dark forest, late in the morning. The sun barely shines through the trees. A boy, alone, walks towards an unknown sound, leaving his partner behind.
REVIEW
Scene: Dotoku walks down a gravel path seemingly man-made. He looks around, but sees no signs of other people. Yet, he hears a song.
Character Three:
(singing in distance; only some words audible) ... I just killed a man.
.... gun ... head ... trigger ... dead
Dotoku:
(whispering) Was--- was somebody actually murdered?
Was it in this forest?
Who was it...
This is... not right. Something--- something is wrong.
CONTINUE:
Character Three:
(singing in distance, voice coming from different directions every few seconds)
...any way the wind blows.
Dotoku:
Who is there? I won't hurt you.
Character Three:
(excited) Wait, you are real?
Dotoku:
What do you mean 'you are real?'? Of course I am real.
Character Three:
(jumps down from a tree behind Dotoku, then pokes Dotoku's shoulder)
You are!
(growing more excited) Are there more of you? Can I meet them?
Dotoku:
Sure you can, that is, after you explain what you were singing. 'I just killed a man'?
Character Three:
Oh, that is just a song. It is really good. I will show it to you (pause) once I get service or any sort of musical instrument.
Dotoku:
Alright, if it really is 'just a song', who is it by?
Character Three:
Queen.
Dotoku:
That sounds made up. But, I will give you one more chance.
What is your name?
Character Three:
Name?
Dotoku:
Your bag should have a nametag.
Character Three:
You mean the bag I left in the tree?
Dotoku:
Why is it in a tree?
Character Three:
I didn't want to break it when I jumped down.
Dotoku:
...so you left it in the tree... and that is better because...
Character Three:
It might have broken from the landing.
Dotoku:
Fair enough, just go get it.
Character Three:
Alright. One second.
(climbs tree, comes back down)
Where is this 'nametag'?
Dotoku:
Right here.
(holds bag still and points to the tag)
Character Three:
Well? What does it say?
Dotoku:
It says Jonetsu.
Character Three:
So Jonetsu is my name?
(pauses to think)
I love it!
I could be called Jone, or Jon, or Jo, or Tsu. This is so cool!
Dotoku:
Decide on one name, please. I told you what I prefer to be called, now you tell me what you want to be called.
Jonetsu:
I want to be called Jon.
Dotoku:
Jon it is.
Now, follow me.

Dotoku:
Since you specified how to pronounce Fon's name and mine, it would be fair if you did the same for Jon.
Patty:
Good idea, Dotoku. I expect nothing less.
(to audience) Jonetsu is pronounced jo-net-su (jo as in joe, su as in sue), and Jon is pronounced like the name Joan of Arc.
Now, I think Jon is an official member.
Dotoku:
I can't argue with that.
Jon:
Wait, Patty, I just read through the chapters I am in...
My gender is not specified. Why?
Patty:
It will be soon enough, Jon. Don't worry.
Jon:
Fair enough. I will chill out and enjoy the show.
It is kinda boring right now, though. The avatar 'Patty' is in school.
Patty:
(laughing) I forgot you guys call me an avatar in a game.
Jon:
You are, aren't you?
(waits for Patty to answer)
Patty?
Well, maybe she got busy with school. Class does change soon, so she won't be in study hall.
