Chapter 17: Half truths

I sit at the dining table with my past students. They all grown so greatly since I've last seen them. I look down at my hands as I listen to the kids talk amongst each other.

"Hey blackhole" says qrow causing me to jump a little

"Come on we need to talk" he says heavily

I excused myself and got up from my seat. I followed qrow upstairs to the main living room with the young boy named Oscar. I smiled and waved at him as he does the same but awkwardly.

"Lay off blackhole, he's not experienced " says qrow as I punched him on his shoulder

"Hello my love" says ozpins voice

I froze for a minute then turns around fast.

Where is he?

I looked around then I stopped and stared at oscar. His eyes turned from brown to a greenish brown. Almost like ozpins...wait

Ozpin..is that...you?

He nods and without a second I hugged him tightly. Throughout how much emotions I had against him. I still couldn't resist myself to him. Afterwards I let go and stood up.

"I dont get it...how can you be him?" I ask

He sighs for a moment then looks at me again

"I'm cursed" he says

I looked at him shocked

W-What do you mean your cursed?

"This curse was bestowed upon me by the gods because I didnt defeat a evil being in the past" he says as he sits back down

Who was it?

"Her name is Salem"

He sons explains to me the history of remnant and what happened to him. My blood boiled when I found out about who killed him. Cinder...

I sigh and got up from my chair. A hand grabs my wrist causing me to turn around. He looks down then lets go. I walk out the room then closed the door shut.

"Go ahead. Say it" ozpins says with his head low

"Say what" qrow says half drunk

"I told you so" he says angrily

"Whoa there *hic* ozpin. Not my fault she didnt take it the way you wanted. If you forgotten your in a body of a 14 year old kid" qrow says

Ozpin glares at him then puts the control back to Oscar. He lays there and falls asleep.

"Sometimes this blessing becomes a curse" ozpin says
