A knock on the door woke me up, I didn't even remember how I slept. I looked out through the window, it was still dark means it was night and everybody was sleeping.
Why would someone come and meet me at this point of time and that too at night. Logan already ordered that no one's suppose to meet me, then why would someone come? I need to be careful, I have no idea who is on the opposite side of that door.
And this idiot of a person was knocking on the door...like seriously? Like why were they even knocking it's not like I have locked that fucking door that they will not be able to come inside, instead it was the exact opposite. The door was locked from outside so that I can't go out. Feels like people here lack brains as well.
I got up, threw the sheets away and got off the bed. I looked at my pillow, it was the only thing here, that could be used to save myself in case anything happens cause I don't have anything else in the room other than the bed, nightstand and the closet.
I took the pillow and held it in my hands firmly in case I need to fight. I would hit the person so badly...so badly that..... okay whatever!!
I slowly started moving towards the door when I heard Maya's voice "Bella?"
'Maya! Is that you?" I spoke and the door opened revealing a very scared looking Maya. She quickly came inside and locked the door.
"What are you doing here? You know you are not allowed to meet me, right?" I spoke while going back to the bed and throwing the pillow back and faking that I was making my bed. I could not face her after what I did to her and she even has not accepted my apology. I was still not happy with me for putting her in danger.
"I know but then I thought that you have not eaten anything so I brought you some food" She spoke politely.
I turned around and looked at her, she had a plate of food in her hands and was standing there with a small smile on her face.
"You brought me food even after what happened? You know that.."
"I know what happened and yes, I did bring you some food and I know that master has strictly told me not to but I had to do it okay. It's as simple as that"
"So that means you are not angry with me anymore and you accept my apology?"
"No I am not angry at you and there is no need to apologise for anything. I know what you did had nothing to do me because..... because anyone at your place would have done that!I know it feels miserable to be taken away and to be placed somewhere you didn't know anything about!!So I understand why you did that. So please don't apologise and now will you please eat this" She smiled and placed the food on the nightstand.
I smiled at her. I was happy that she understands what I did and why I did it.
" Thank you so much Maya. I am happy that you understand me and what I feel and why I did that. But coming to the food, you please take it back I cannot eat it." I told her feeling guilty because she took so much risk coming here and bringing me food and I was here telling her that I would not eat.
"And why is that?" She asked me arching one of her eyebrows and placing her hands on her hips clearly indicating that she is not happy with what I said. I have met Maya just a few times but she can be scary when she needs to be.
"Just because I don't feel hungry" I replied shrugging my shoulders and hoping she would believe me.
"Oh, so you are not hungry?" She asked me folding her hands in front of her chest.
"No, I am not"
"Will you tell me why are you lying?"
"No, I'm not. I seriously am not hungry. Now you go, please! Before someone comes and sees you here" I told her placing hands on her shoulder and pointing my finger towards the door.
