The drive to the destination was a silent one except for the glances that I recieved in every five minutes from the person next to me.
We reached the place where the event was suppose to take place. It was a luxurious hotel, it was very clear from the feel you get from the place. It was incredibly magnificent, like the buildings you see on television.
Logan opened the door and stepped outside, without even looking at me once. Like so much of an attitude and that too for what ...... ughhh!!!!
'Idiot' I muttered and opened the door. Just as I was about to step out, a hand reached out to help me out. I took it and stepped out of the car.
Logan was standing there my hand in his, smirking. I eyed him once and tried to remove my hand from his but he held it more tightly.
'What?' I questioned frustrated.
'Just take my hand and follow me inside. Everyone's waiting for us.'
'Fine' I muttered and we started walking.
The guards standing on the entrance nodded and opened the door.
'Thanks Toby' Logan spoke and we entered the building.
Hmmm....so he knew the name of the guard which means he visits here often. Well he's definitely rich so it might be no big deal for him to come to a place like this. Rich people and their spoiled habits!
We started walking towards the elevator behind the receptionist desk. She winked and offered a flirty smile to Logan to which he very willingly responded smirking.
I tried to ignore their short exchange but I felt very bad. It was like I was just an arm candy, more of a burden to him. It felt embarrassing!
The elevator opened and we stepped inside. My feet were already hurting from wearing those heels and now I was feeling sick being with him. What is wrong with me? Why didn't I just told him no? I should have just not come here with him. He is going to do this the whole night....flirt around with the ladies having a perfect body and a charming smile while I will have to go with him everywhere he says like his slave! What have I done?! I should have not come..
'You should have brought someone else to this event you know! Someone more beautiful and charming than me....now shouldn't you? Ummm.... someone like the receptionist....' I spoke angrily and yanked my hand away from his grip. I was angry. I was angry over myself for coming with him and also because of that stupid receptionist! She flirted with him!! Even after seeing that I was with him! And he....even he smiled! Stupid asshole!!
He looked at me and I looked at the elevator door, waiting for it open soon. I could feel the heat radiating off my neck. I was feeling hot all of a sudden and suffocated. I wanted to cry. How could he??! He flirted! Stupid!!! He's an idiot! An absolute asshole! I hate him!!
He didn't reply just kept shooting diggers my side and I ignored him. The door opened and I stepped out as fastly as I can but he pulled me back through my elbow and I smashed into his chest.
'What the fuck!! What is wrong with you?!' I spoke trying to pull myself away from him to which he only snaked his arm around my waist and pushed the button again and we started moving down.
'Leave me! What is your problem?!'
'Well I don't have any problem. A few minutes ago you were having problem with me or should I say more clearly problem about my small interaction with Maddie' I glared at him. Of course he knew her name! Ughhh....why did I even opened my mouth!
'I don't have any problem with anybody. I just....just didn't wanted to come and still I had to against my wish! I don't have anything to do with you flirting around people.... you can do whatever you want. I don't care!'
