Kaycees POV.

I walk into school like every other day. I walk to my locker and see my best friends waiting for me. "Ahh tahani! Bailey!" I scream as I run up to them. "Kaycee!" They shouts and we start laughing.

"Sorry I'm late." I say putting my stuff in my locker and taking my books out. "Oh it's ok." Bailey says chuckling. "Ugh, I hate Wednesdays. I only have one class with you two!" I whine and I hear them laugh. "How am I gonna live!" I say and close my locker.

We hear the bell ring and we say bye. But once I turn around I bump into someone and drop my book and I feel them grab my waist. They pull me up and I open my eyes. I'm face to face with probably the most cutest boy ever. ah kaycee shut up.

I see his eyes become red and faint veins run to his eyes and I look at him confused. "Are you ok?! Your eyes.." I say and he let's go of me and turns around.

He slowly turns around and looks at me and there gone. "That's weird I swear I sa-." But he cuts me off. "Nah Just uh... allergies...." he says and I nod slowly. I start picking up my books and he helps me. "Uh sorry about that. Uh.. just didn't see you" he says giving me my books and scratching the back of his head.

"Nah it's ok" I say and smile. I see him creak a smile and I smile wider. "Well see you uh.. around.." I say and start to walk off. He stays frozen as I walk off a bit and he stares at me. I turn around slightly and smile at him. I give him a small wave and giggle. He unfreezes and chuckles.

He waves back and I turn around and head to class.

Sean's POV

I walk into school for the first time. Well, this school. My friends and I just enrolled here for free as we have no parents, and why would we pay when we can just compel them? We moved back here from Australia as we've been to too many schools around here that people would start noticing that were not getting older. And by "moved back" I mean, moved back after 20 years.

"Broo Kenny. Josh." I say giving them a hand shake. "Bro last night, this chicks blood tasted so fucking good, I wanted it all" josh says and we chuckle. "Maybe keep it down eh?" Kenneth says and I nod along with him.

I see Kenneth somewhere behind me and I turn around and see an Group of girls. They were laughing. I look back at Kenneth and smirk. "Who's your pick?" I say and lick my lips. "Asian one is mine" he says and I look at josh. "The little tan ones mine" josh says and that leaves the other girl. she looks kinda familiar..

"Guess she's mine" I say and they smirk. As the bell rings her friends leave and I walk up to her. She turns around before I could say anything and she bumps into me making all her books fall down.

She falls backwards but I put my hands around her waist with my vamp reflexes and pull her back up. She comes face to face with me and I freeze. I look at her, no it can't be. She's dead. Then I get distracted from my thoughts as I hear and feel her veins shouting and screaming at me as we lock gazes. But something weird happened. I didn't want to.

She looks at me confused as she puts her hands on me cheeks. "Are you ok?! Your eyes..." she says and I let her go quickly and turn around. I see josh and Kenneth look at me. I hear Kenneth whisper "what the heck are you doing?! You gonna feed on her or not". I roll my eyes and turn back around as I feel my self become calm again.

"That's weird I swear I sa-." She starts but I cut her off. "Nah just uh... Allergies...." I reply and she slowly nods her head. She bends down and starts picking up her books. I bend down and help her. "Uh sorry about that. Uh.. just didn't see you" I say giving her books back and she smiles.

"Nah, it's ok" she says and smiles at me. I smile a bit back when I see how beautiful she looked. How kind she was. And just caring even when I was about to rip her neck open and suck her blood dry. But she didn't know that. She smiles wider then walks away.

I just freeze as I stare at her. Admiring her. The turns around slowly and looks at me. She smiles and waves at me causing her to giggle. I unfreeze and chuckle. Then she walks off.

I shake my head and scratch the back of my head. "What the heck just happened?.." I say to myself. "That's what I've been thinking" josh says as he walks over to me. "We were waiting for you bro! You did nothing!" Kenneth says and just stare at the floor.

"Why? You know her. Didn't want to risk it?" Josh asks and I shake my head. "Then what was it Sean?" Kenneth asks and I lean my back against the locker.

"I don't know. I just didn't want to hurt her.."
