"So uh..." Will quickly wiped his face, "Sorry you had to see that."
"Don't worry about it. I've seen worse. You're slowly coming further from the brink of death."
"Fun. Oh my gods, I can talk to you and actually breathe. I... That's awesome." Will smiled, nice, soft.
"And you're not ghosting me anymore." Nico added.
"Yeah. I'm sorry for that, Nico, I never would've guessed, in a million years, that anything I felt would be reciprocated, I thought just not talking to you-"
"It's okay. You're okay now, right?"
"Yeah."
"That's all that matters now."
"...You're such an angel."
"I'm logical. You and your health are more important than just, me being kinda upset." Nico told him, genuinely.
"I guess. Okay, I have to... Tell Kayla that I'm not dead, tell my boss the same thing and get a few articles in to her, finally take my fucking meds after however long it's been, and... I mean, you want to talk about this, right?"
"Of course. We just confessed to each other, there's a lot to talk about and do with that."
"Right." Will seemed thoughtful.
"What do you want to do first?"
"Uh, mainly, kiss you, but I'm guessing you dont-" And Will was cut off, of course, by Nico kissing him.
"Blegh, you were right, that was a mistake. You still smell and taste like blood and flowers. Rinse your mouth." Will didn't move, just staring at Nico with his mouth hanging stupidly open, "Will?"
"Uh, yeah, sorry, I'm just... So fucking gay. Are you busy at all today? Like are people expecting you later? Or..."
"I'm all yours."
Will smiled, "Good. I need food, I haven't really been keeping anything down... You have free range to my kitchen, take whatever you want."
"So I can take you?"
"Honey, you've had me since day one."
"Smooth."
"Meh. Come on." Will took Nico's hand, gently dragging him around the apartment. "Mountain Dew?"
"You drink mountain dew?"
Will pulled a can from his fridge, "Yeah? Do you have something against mountain dew?"
"No, I just didn't expect you to drink it. You're a healthy golden boy."
"Pfft, okay. So..."
"So?"
