Chapter 8

He wakes up and leaps to his paws. He nuzzles her and she purrs. As they trot back to camp a new she cat comes limping in. Nightpaw races over river and finchflight helps her he curls around in her tail. "I'm nightpaw!" He says happily. Redpaw looks at them her eyes shining with anger jealousy and anger. She runs out side and onto a rock over looking to ocean. Shellspirit trots over to her. "So your becoming a warrior soon." She mews redpaw nods. "Yeah I just need my assessment done." She mews. "Hey will you asset me?!" She says. She nods and brings her to the training hollow. Tigerwhisp trots in with nightpaw. "I want you two to fight with claws sheathed." He mews as the two apprentices fight there eyes burn with anger she tackles him and presses a paw to his neck nightpaw shoots up and claws her side and bite her neck his claws sinking in deeper. She yowls in pain and then she tackles him and presses a paw to his neck her claw still in her body shakes and she collapses. Nightpaws eyes go back to normal. "No! No no no no!" He yowls and runs. Tigerwhisp yowls and tackles him. And brings him back. "You are on apprentice duties for a whole moon!" He yowls angrily duststar runs up and gasps and calls the medicine cat the medicine cat takes care of redpaw. Nightpaw shakes his head. "I don't belong here anymore! I'm leaving jayclan I broke the warrior code and almost just killed her!" He wails. Redpaw jerks awake in her nest her wounds pretty much healed as it had been a day. She stands and trots outside she hunts a rabbit and the trots back to camp and sees nightpaw running around telling every cat good bye. Her eyes weld up with tears. "No!" She yowls finchflight runs after nightpaw. "Here I will help you as tell everyone your dead!" He says and pushes him into a lavender bush. Nightpaw runs to the barn and goes inside. Then the warrior runs back to camp. "He is dead!" He yowls and redpaws eyes have tears. "No!!" She yowls and races out of camp and sees him go into the barn she runs pumping her legs faster and faster. She goes inside and crys. "Please nightpaw don't leave please!" She yowls crying. "Don't leave I don't car if you dont like or love me I just want you to come back!" She yowls he backs up. "Don't tell me how you want me to come back tell me how 'u' feel." He mews. "I-I-I love you night paw and I don't care if you don't love me or feel the same way all I know that is if your gone I will hate myself everyday because I LOVE YOU NIGHT PAW!" She yowls crying. His eyes widen and walks over to her whipping her tears with his tail. And curls he tail with his his head on hers. "I love you to redpaw..."
