After a 6 hour flight from New York to California we arrived 11:30 that night. We all sat in the waiting area waiting for  Mya's oldest brother Xavier and their dad Diesel to arrive. I'm beyond tired after not having slept for the past two days, trying to get work done on a few of my newest children's books and 1 adult book. Figuring I wouldn't get much done on vacation. I look up and the twins wake up to Mya's "daddy!".

We get up and slowly walk behind. Diesel pulls us each in for a hug, while I discreetly look for the car so I can rest a moment. After hugging Diesel, I walk up to a 6'5 tall muscular man known as Xavier and wrap my arms around his waist to hug him, then speed walk to the car, looking forward to sleep. Missing the gasps, shocked faces of everyone behind me, and Mya whispering "I forgot to tell her!"

Diesel stood watching his eldest son in surprise. Whilst Xavier stood watching the small woman rush to the car, looking so incredibly beautiful and tired.

I start dozing against the window while everyone makes small talk. We arrive to a large white bricked home
with a beautiful front porch. Lights on the house, trees, and some on poles illuminating the entire front property. There's a grey brick road leading up to the porch. An array of brightly colored flowers spread throughout the yard. It's all stunning.

We meet a curvy woman about 5'7 at the door, who could pass as Mya's older sister. Her mother Flora is gorgeous and she squeals while going through and hugging everyone. She then shows us to our individual rooms. Bree, Ny, and Mya on the west wing of the house and me and Xavier on the east until construction on another room was finished. I wished everyone a goodnight and followed a quiet Xavier. Wishing him a goodnight without waiting for a response and falling face down into bed.
