My freestyle front crawl is second to none. Nobody in the academy was able to beat me when we did water training. Pierce won't either. But then again, I've never seen him swim before. I'll try not to get to competitive today. The fitness club is void of anyone. With the exception of a few seniors in the slow lane, and some toddlers in the kiddy pool. But besides that there were five vastly open lanes of nothing but blue chlorine reflecting and refracting our reflections. Say that three times fast.
"Are you sure you're up for this?" I said stretching my arms and legs. Good opportunity to show of my bikini. I chose the solid blue one with the halter top that wrapped around my neck. " I mean you may have good lung capacity, but do you have the speed?" I asked him as we took our starting positions.
"I can just use the extra air like a jet pack to out swim you," He joked slicking his hair back with wet hands.
He wore some well fitting purple swim trunks with black vertical stripes. But with his shirt off...my boyfriend was like a fucking god! He had a runners body with a tight stomach, and a rib cage that only slightly peeked over his waist. I could see the definition in his hip bones down to his sculpted legs. His arms, while not as toned, were still packed with muscles. And his chest, while not packing a pair of perfect pecks, still looked healthy and firm. Oh my god, I wanna touch that chest. I casually bent over to touch my head to my knees. Trying to make sure my vagina was not wet before I got in the pool. I'm in the clear. When I looked back over, he was staring at me with great focus. First at my legs, then caught my face. He rummaged with his shorts a bit as he blushed. I giggle. Mutual attraction is always a good sign.
"Alright, two laps. Ready?" I asked him. He faced me and nodded with confidence. We watched the huge timer on the wall. When a new minute starts, we hit the water. Three, two, one and we we're off!
I executed a streamline dive letting my pointed hands hit the water first, and allowing my hips to push off after breaking the surface and give me an extra boost. When I leaned out for my first breath, I saw he hit the water less gracefully, but still had the right position. Should I let up a little bit, for his sake? Nah, sorry Pierce. You have your video games and pinball while I have swimming. I pressed forward letting my speedy legs kick making the water bubble and boil but not splash. I came up for another breath. He wasn't far behind me. But when I went for another breath it looked like he made at least five stokes before taking a breath. That's awesome. But I was getting to distracted. He was gaining on me and we were mere yards from making the first turn. I clench my jaw, kick faster, and cup my fingers tighter. Stoking and kicking with robust rhythm as if I'm kind of speed demon. I dolphin kick the wall and turn myself around. Pierce however, kind of slowed down tapped the wall with his foot before getting into position and starting again. I had already gone halfway the length of the pool by the time he started again. But he was not deterred. I could see the focus in his eyes when I passed him on my second lap. With a newfound second wind, and turning around before he hit the wall, he managed to catch up to me again. I turned again, with him right on my tail, and reached the final leg to tap the wall victorious.
"Great race," I said out of breath. My chest burned with the need for air. My breaths short and rapid. Its been a while since I gave it my all like that.
"Same to you. You are speedy," He said. I shot him a thumbs up. "You're breathing heavy though." I nodded as my chest continued to rapidly rise up and down. He lift himself out of the pool, leaning over and offering his hand to me, "Here."
I took it and sat down on the floor letting my legs dangle in the water. He sat next to me a put his hand on my belly, "Try to focus on breathing from your nose, but leave you lips pursed a bit." He put his other hand on my back, "It also helps to if you sit up straight too." I did just as he said, and it actually made a pretty big difference. My throat no longer felt like it was burning struggling for air. "Better?" he asked. I nodded. "Good, if you want to you can switch to breathing in from the nose and out from the mouth. But try and push my hand out with your belly on the inhale."
