Scott grinned as he caught a scent. The werewolf stench around the girl was strong - she had protectors. The male would have to find another way to get to her. Then he noticed a scrap of paper, riding the quiet breeze. Automatically snatching it out of the air, Scott read the few lines and smiled, overlarge incisors showing.
School started today.
Making sure he was presentable, Scott loped as quickly as he could to the school, and made up a quick, easy lie to tell the people. Once he was convinced them that he had just moved there, the registration process took a couple hours. So many students were already there when he walked into his first class. The bell would ring soon, but he wanted to find her. The girl with the nightmares.
Many vampires like himself had gone after her, but her protectors were vigilent and had torn many of his brethren to shreds. Scott would not be so careless. Scanning the room with his eyes as wella s his nose, he smelled her. Rose, they called her. She was surrounded by werewolves, but he saw the alpha, right beside his unwon treasure.
The werewolf alpha was called Jaydn, and she looked harmless enough, but his clan had warned him of her. The second he walked in, Jaydn noticed, and her eyes flashed yellow-gold. The introduction was easy, as he didn't have to speak, then he dropped into the vacant desk beside a werewolf and a seat away from Rose herself.
Then the teacher said that, because of something he cared little about, Rose was going to be Scott's guide. This could not get more perfect, but he noticed something wrong. And then it hit him.
Rose had no idea.

Nightmares of Beauty
WerewolfThe sorta sequel to Rubinyan's 'Nightmares'. Because half those characters are mine and it hurts when she messed them up. And I really, like, really love correcting her. Even though she's like my best friend ever.
