I had an odd prickling feeling on the back of my neck. Someone was in danger, someone I was bonded to. Walking out, I decided to go to the store down the road. There was a motorcycle in the parking lot with the stench of demon surrounding it like too much cologne. When the smell hit me, I stopped in my tracks for a split second before hurtling through the door, cracking the glass panes. Rose was by the frozen goods, the owner of the demon motorcycle leaning over her.
My fangs cut the inside of my bottom lip when they came out, and I leaped over the top of the shelves, forcing my way between the two in a half second. No one else in the store seemed to notice anything, but I knew that I couldn't do much more like that, or glamour wouldn't be able to cover my destruction. I bared my teeth at the demon and snarled with no words.
He leered at me as Rose bolted, and I went forward, aiming my teeth at his neck. Amazingly fast, he dodged, but we were both fast. After a moment of struggling to hit each other, he growled and went out, leaping on his motorcycle and leaving. I followed after a moment, going back to where I said my home was to Rose. I saw her outside. "Hey," she said, and I turned around.
"Hey," I answered. "I was just coming to meet my neighbors. I didn't know you were one of them." I saw a car full of girls pull up, and sighed. "I've got to go, bye."
I went inside, accidentally breaking the lock. I'd need to actually move here if I planned to stay here for a while, so I took out my cell phone and called the clan. I didn't know how answered, but they obviously knew me. I rattled off the address and informed the trembling voice at the other end that I wanted the house. They agreed, and a moment later, I was being called by the real estate company, informing me that someone would be by soon with the keys.
True to their word, a few minutes later, there was a man there, handing me the keys as I pretended that I was still locked out. I made a point of 'unlocking' the broken lock and going inside. It didn't take much to fix the lock, and I did it without even taking it out of the door, locking the agent out. The home came furnished, and I had no need for food. This would be so easy. All I had to do was make it look lived-in.
Short, just posting because I don't have anything for Scotty-boy to do on his own and I can't control Jaydn to bring her in.
