CHAPTER [23]

Kongpob has never felt this guilty or regretful in his life except for the times when Arthit got hurt. he had visited James in the morning and now after that huge news heard from James he has to try not to think about it too much since he has to work.

But how could he when the only thing on his mind is this?, Kong had only known Karn because he to was part of a gang and they were enemies so how would he know that he had a brother? and to think someone like Rome was his brother since they look nothing alike, looks and personalty wise.

As he strolled alone through the pathway leading himself to the construction site he looked up to the sky and saw the sun shining remembering his own sun, missing him deeply... what will Arthit feel when he knows about this..Kong thought

Kongpob tried to separate work and personal things apart but it was too hard. The sun was strong it was hot.... every worker around were starting to sweat. No one saw it coming until a loud noise was heard

BAM!

Everybody on the construction site targeted their eyes to where the source of sound came from, somehow a pile of bricks had fallen on a coworker

Their feet were frozen on the spot when they realised what happened seeing their coworkers body on the ground with blood gushing out from his head despite the fact that he's wearing a protective helmet. They all finally got back to their senses and quickly ran towards the unconscious body , they had no time to think about how this happened but just wanted to help out the unconscious guy,

Everybody was yelling leaving their work aside "someone call the ambulance" a coworker yelled followed by a siren sound coming from afar few minutes later

They helped by putting him on  the stretcher and on to the ambulance , at the same time the blood just wouldn't stop pouring out from his head.

Arthit has been at his parents for 3 days and so so far so good no mention of Kongpob has come out of him.

He has been sitting in the living room with his parents not knowing that he is being watched by them at all as he is on his phone, who seemed too giddy. "Oon do you have a girlfriend?" The question popped out of no where and the reaction they got was him who choked on plain air.

His mother started getting all excited I ignoring his coughing and sat by her son who quickly turned off his phone before she saw what he was looking at "Oon do you really have a girlfriend?" it was the same question but this time she's asking for assurance

Arthit didn't want to lie nor say the truth, he nodded... "you need to bring her someday" his mother had no idea what she was saying because if he did she would probably have a heart attack "Mai i'm not ready"

"okay okay i get it" she couldn't hold in her excitement that her son finally has someone but will she be able to handle it when she knows who it is?

The phone in his hand started ringing bringing his mother to be curious, she suspiciously looked over to see the ID caller that suddenly got covered by Arthit's hand and got up leaving the living room. He stepped outside and answered the call which kept going off

"Hel-" Arthit had no time to even greet the caller who was talking too fast for Arthit to understand "wait , wait Aim what's going on?" 

Aim was panting since he was talking too fast so he tried to calm down "I don't know if i should actually tell you this because i'm worried of how you might react" 

That one sentence started to scare Arthit "it's about Kongpob" this may have scared him even more so he sat down on the bench that was on the porch "what about Kongpob?"
