The test weeks have periodically ended. Jide and Patricia are having a rather smooth relationship living together. Jide along with Fatai and Jake are making preparations for the party. In this scene Patricia speaks to Mark for the first time. Jide's parents also tip him of their return.
(In school)
Mr. Tony: Submit!
Fatai: Sir, please give us some more time.
Mr. Tony: My friend, submit. Even if I leave this paper till Gods kingdom, you will not finish! Do not bother yourself.
Tonia: Sir, this is mine.
Mr. Tony: Everybody submit! Now!
(Students sequentially arrange their papers on Mr. Tony's front desk)
Mr. Tony: Nonye! Carry these papers to the staff room. Drop it on the civic teachers table.
Nonye: Ok sir.
(Nonye leaves as Jake and Fatai approach Jide)
Fatai: Now that we have finished the tests, we came to ask which day will be convenient for the party?
Jide: That depends on the two of you. Whenever you guys are ready.
Jake: Nonye is the social prefect so when she comes, I'll tell her to announce it to the senior classes.
Fatai: What day do you have in mind?
Jide: I was thinking tomorrow will be awesome.
Jake: Well, we are done with the tests, so tomorrow is okay. But how do we take care of food and drinks?
Jide: Jake don't worry about food and drinks tomorrow. You all, should just bring yourselves and forget about the rest. If that's all, lets head to the assembly hall.
Mr Tony: Before you guys decide to throw any party, you should practically consider what this year's academic results will reveal. Don't go partying and forget that classes continue on Monday. Plus, the principal is gingering the teachers to get every test result by Monday.
Jake: Definitely not, Sir.
(Bell rings)
Mr Tony: Alright, out everyone. I believe the principal has something to remind the students.
Principal: Good afternoon students, I come humbly and in peace to officially note that the tests are over. The truth is, I really admired the seriousness and dedication you pupils showed. I beg my pardon, students rather. It was an exciting academic week. We did have our ups and downs but I am convinced already that this year will be Royalty's best year. The whole board of teachers have done their best to successfully ensue the whole test process, and I have to say that we are well pleased. There will be no school tomorrow. Tomorrow being the 23rd of March, there will be no school I repeat. Although you could come, if you want to say hello to the lizards and frogs. On behalf of the proprietor and the Royalty family, I usher that all students can take their leave immediately after the prayers. Thank you.
Mr tony: Thank you very much sir, Fatai come pray for us.
Fatai: Sir, I'm Muslim.
Mr. tony: That does not really change anything. Come pray for us.
(After Fatai's prayer, students dismiss. Most of which head home).
Silvia: Hey,
Patricia: Yeah.
Silvia: I'm really sorry about what I did to you. I see now that you don't really need me around anymore.
