Chapter 22

Daniel's pov
After seeing Lauren crying I knew I had I to do something to cheer her up. I decided to take her to see a movie as there was a new sequel to her favourite film. It was finding dory.

We watched the film and I got her favourite drink and snacks. Iced tea (that HAD to be peach flavour) and salted popcorn

Lauren started crying even more watching the movie, but she was okay, but they were happy tears

"Thank you Dani" she smiled hugging me

"You're welcome lozzy" I smiled hugging back "so you wanna go get some food"

"Love to" she replied and we headed towards the takeout

I got a grapefruit pizza and Lauren got a chicken one when we walked back up to the front door it was so quiet...a little to quiet

We walked in through the door and saw Jonah with his phone out taking pictures i walked closer to realise that it was Zach asleep on Jack both of them arms wrapped around each other.

He put his finger to his mouth, me and Lauren nodded
Looking at it now, they actually look really cute together jonah walks to the kitchen I follow to get some

"Is it just me or is it mega obvious that zach likes jack, and jack likes zach but neither one of them want to admit it?" He asked sipping at this coffee

"Thinking about it now yeah it is, I never realised before tho" I laughed

"They are perfect for each other tho, the two halves destined to make a whole" Jonah smiled sipping his coffee

Lauren walked into the kitchen "hey guys watcha talking about" she smiled

"How made for each other jack and zach are" Jonah replied I could see Lauren's face twitch

"What do you mean?" Lauren asked

"As in like they both like each other. They should date" Jonah replies in a duh tone

"Well that cant be possible because Zach is straight" Lauren said I could see the anger growing inside of her "he Cannot he Gay." She added bluntly storing out of the room

"I'll go talk to her" I said seeing Jonah's shocked face, this was the first time we had seen Lauren in anything but a good mood.

"Lauren wait up" I shouted as I ran up the stairs

"What Daniel?"

"Can we talk?"

"We are doing aren't we?"

"I mean can we sit down"

She spun around and said "fine come on. My room"

"What happened? Why did you flip out, it was just a little point"

"No daniel. It wasn't just a little conversation." Lauren shook her head

I could see the hurt growing in her eyes

"Help me to understand why" I smiled putting my hand on top of hers

"I...well...okay...fine, but you can't tell anyone" she says looking into my eyes. I can tell she isn't kidding here.

"Okay I promise"

"About five years ago me and zach had a cousin he came out as bisexual to his parents as he had a boyfriend, his boyfriend lived with his grandmother because none else would take him in for being gay. My auntie had a similar response. My whole dads side of the family is really against homosexuality, my auntie kicked him out with no hesitation my mum was about to try taking him in but my dad would not hear of it, he almost left us over the situation so we had to let him go" tears were falling down her face "I miss him, we both do, I haven't had any contact with him, I don't know where he is or even who at this point, I can't, I just can't have that happen to zach" she was balling her eyes out at this point

I took her into my arms and hugged her tightly whispering into her ear "hey hey hey it's okay, we won't let anything happen to zach, if it is true and he ends up with Jack his happiness should come first we could try talk to your dad, if not. We have a house here. Zach is making his own money, he can stay here and live a good life and you can stay with him and still see your parents. Everything will be okay I promise"

Lauren drifted off to sleep lying in my arms and I was to tired to move or carry her to her own room so I pulled the covers over us and took Lauren's jacket off and fell asleep myself next to my beautiful girlfriend
