Two months later

Adam and I are getting closer by each day. Sarah and I are growing apart even more by each day. She hangs out with William every single day. It had been a good day today, Adam and I had been at The Moonlight again, the café we went to a couple months ago.

I had slept for only 2 hours when my phone started to ring. I looked at the clock, 00:08. Who's calling me now? The caller ID told me it's Sarah. We haven't talked much except for some words during class or maybe lunch.

"Hello? Are you okay?" I said as I picked up. No response, I could only hear someone crying on the other end.

"Sarah? Are you alright? Did he do anything to you?"

"He's such an asshole. He cheated on me. And do you want to know how I found out??" she finally responded.

"I'm so sorry, Sarah! Yeah, you can tell me if you want." I told her as I sat up in bed.

"So we were studying in his living room. And he went to the kitchen to get us some water. Not relevant but whatever. And as he got up he got a text. I didn't snoop, I didn't even turn the phone around to see the details but what I could see was that it was a naked girl. And I got so angry! Then he got ANOTHER text! And I was like what does this bitch want, you know? Do you wanna know what she said, you're not gonna believe it. She texted him: last night was so good, too bad your girlfriends around today. I wanted to see if he was going to confess before I would tell him that I found out. So when he returned I asked what he had done the night before, because he had told me he had been out with Charlie, his friend. Which he tried to convince me again that he had been, and he also said that I'm silly for forgetting so fast! We were doing math so I asked him to calculate something on his phone, just so he would pick up his phone and see the messages and hopefully tell me or something like that. But no! He told me that his phone had freaking charged out!! He's a bitch. So I told him I knew, that I saw the messages and he tried to act as if he didn't know what I was talking about. I just stormed out." she was out of breath when she finished ranting.

"Oh my god, Sarah! I'm so sorry. Do you want to come over? I can make us a cup of tea if you want? We have to be quiet though so we don't wake everyone up."

"Yes, thank you! Actually I'm just a house away. I was kind of hoping that you would invite me."

"Of course I was going to. No one messes with my best friend."

We hung up and I quietly walked downstairs and unlocked the front door. Sarah opened it just a few seconds later, I embraced her with a hug immediately. Even though we hadn't talked very much the last months, she was still my best friend. One of my two best friends at least.

We brought our cups of tea and went upstairs back to my room. I closed the door as she went to sit on the bed, I sat down beside her waiting for her to say something. I'm not quite sure how much she wanted to talk about the topic that is the douche so I let her decide.

"He's trash, seriously." she started off, okay I guess she might want to talk about it then.

"Do you know who she is?" I asked carefully.

"No, I didn't recognize her. But I'm used to seeing girls wearing clothes so maybe that's why. Hopefully she's in another school, far from here."

"Yeah, let's hope so." I smiled at her.

"He's just such a.. ughh, I don't even know what to call him. I hate him. And at first I thought that I shouldn't blame her, because maybe she didn't know that he was in a relationship. Like she didn't know what an asshole he was, but then it just turned out to be two assholes sexting. Oh my god."

I could see how stressed out she was, and I couldn't blame her. I mean, how could she have predicted this. Okay, maybe I did, so did Lucas and Adam. But she didn't have to know that.

"Hey, you deserve so much better! He doesn't deserve you. You know what, lets try to get some sleep and tomorrow we will go to that café that you missed out on. It's our favorite place! Adam and I have been going there like all the time."

"That sounds so nice. Thank you Fells, you're the best. I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too, WE'RE the best." I winked at her.

We finished up our tea and then went to sleep. I could feel Sarahs sadness all over the room. You could feel it in the air. No one will treat my best friend like that without any consequences.
