When me, Sarah and William (of course he was joining us) walked through the halls the next day on our way to lunch I saw Adam standing by the lockers. I walked up to him.

"Hey Adam. Are you feeling better now?" I smiled.

"Hey Felicia. Yeah I guess it was just a quick flu or something. Nothing serious." he smiled back.

"Do you want to join us in the cafeteria?"

"If it's okay, yeah!"

We sat down by a table, William and Sarah beside each other and me and Adam facing them.

"When did you become friends?" Adam asked us.

"Fells and I have always been friends. Like forever. We met in kindergarten and we teamed up and has kept on hanging since. William joined a couple days ago." She smiled.

"That's so cool. So are you guys like together?" Adam kept on asking, he really didn't take it easy. As he asked the question I saw Sarah turn to William, watching him waiting for his answer.

"Umm, we haven't really talked about it. But Sarah's great, so I wish we will be at least." William answered as he smirked. I looked back over at Sarah, she seemed more than pleased with his answer.

"Cool. Hey Luke!" Adam turned around as he caught Lucas walking by.

"Oh, hey guys!" Lucas approached us smiling until he saw William.

"How was your sunday, bro? I can imagine you were feeling pretty rough thinking about all those drinks you swept." Adam chuckled.

"Hahah, yeah. No kidding bruh, I was completely knocked out for like half the day." he laughed and then cleared his throat as his gaze fell on me.

"Oh, don't worry bout me. I knew how you were going to feel, I was the one who had to guide you to your room." I teased him, seeing him feel a little bit ashamed was kind of fun.

At the end of the school day, me and Sarah walked out of the classroom together. Oh and William, of course. Whatever, as long as she's happy, right? Adam joined us right outside the door.

"Hey, I need to go to the bathroom quick. I'll meet you outside okay?" William said.

"Okay." Both me and Sarah answered, how nice of me, even if we may have done it  in different tones and she was smiling and I couldn't care less but still. Adam nudged me and laughed at me.

"So, we were going to go to this new café down the street. Want to join us?" I asked Sarah as we continued down the hall.

"Yeah, sure! Can William come?"

"Why not?" I smiled at her. Even though I really don't like William, I love Sarah and I don't want to hurt her. Adam actually looked pretty surprised.

After about 10 minutes of waiting for William outside, he finally joined us again.

"Took you long enough. Now let's go." Adam said.

"Where we going?" William asked.

"A new café that's opened nearby." Sarah smiled, you could tell that she's excited. Sarah's always been like this. If there's a new place opening in town, she has already been there. She's always first so she can tell everyone about how good it was or how bad it was. Mostly I think she did it because when she was little she never knew things all the other kids talked about and she felt like an outsider. So the fact that she hasn't been at that café yet makes me wonder how much time of hers William actually consumes.

"Yeah, and the reviews are only positive. Can't wait to buy one of their cupcakes, there's been so much talk about them. Come on, before I start to drool right here." I said making Sarah laugh and look as she was going to drool any second as well.

"But baby, I told you we had things to do today. We can't go there now." he said, making Sarahs smile fade faster than anything I've ever seen.

"Oh yeah. Sorry, forgot about that. We'll go there tomorrow?" Something really seemed off now. Sarah cancelling plans like this for something else. What could be so important? Is the Queen of England coming by or something?

"What plans?"

"I have practice so Sarah and I were going to do our homework before that."

"Basically, what you're saying is that she can't go with her friends because you have plans? That's ridiculous!"

"Ridiculous? You know what's ridiculous? It's you who..."

"Fells, it's okay. I'll just see you guys tomorrow." Sarah cut him off and smiled at me, a fake one, I could tell. But trying to keep myself together, I smiled back at her. It wasn't her I was angry at, it was him.

"Do you still want to go? We could just do it another day if you don't want to." Adam asked.

"Of course I still want to! I'm going to eat that damn cupcake, and we're going to have a good time." I smiled at him, linking our arms. It's kind of funny actually. Me and Adam don't really know much about each other but it feels like we have known each other forever. But my plan right now is to get to know him even better while eating that glorious cupcake.
