As I opened my eyes the next morning, Sarah wasn't here. I stretched as I stood up before I slid on my slippers and walked out of my room.

"No way. So she actually heard it? Oh my god, that's so embarrassing. How could you even continue?" I heard Sarah laugh from the kitchen. I walked down the stairs and found her eating breakfast with Lucas.

"Actually, I didn't. I stopped and walked out of there. It was too humiliating." Lucas laughed with her.

"Good morning, guys." I said as I entered the room.

"Heyy! Thanks so much for letting me stay tonight. You're the best Fellz." Sarah thanked me.

"That's what best friends are for right? Helping." I smiled and then continued as I looked at both of them.

"So, I'm gonna go meet Adam. You should finish eating, Lucas can give you a ride to school?"

"Yeah, sure." Lucas replied, I could see that he tried to hide the smile that was creeping up on his face.

"That'd be great, thanks!" Sarah grinned.

We had been friends forever. This house was practically her house as well, and she had been hanging out with Lucas several times before when I haven't come home yet or something. So this was nothing weird.

Adam

At moonlight now. where u at?

                                                                                                                                                                                       Me

                                                                                                                                                                  On my way! :)

The doorbell rang as I opened the door to the small café that I had grown so fond of over the last couple of months. Adam was sitting by our table. It's in the far corner by the window. Every table is decorated with a small, cute table cloth and a beautiful flower. On our table is a pink orchid, my favorite flower. Actually, it sat on another table but after I had mentioned that was my favorite, Adam switched them out.

I ordered my coffee and then went over to our table and sat across from Adam.

"Hey! How are you?"

"Fells, finally. I'm good, been waiting forever but I'm okay." he mocked me.

"Oh stop whining." I laughed at him.

"Hahah okay then. But I am good, actually. How are you beautiful?"

"Me too. So Sarah came to my house last night. Like in the middle of the night."

"What? Why?"

"William's an asshole." I simply explained.

"Oh, that was already clear but I'm kind of glad she could see it too, I guess. What happened?"

"He cheated.."

"That prick!!" he shouted and then covered his mouth with his hands as his eyes widened. He said sorry to the old couple that looked at him. Then he turned back to me.

"She deserves better. Way better!"

"I know. She did not deserve this. Well, she will be okay. I know she will, she's strong."

We kept chatting for a bit and then a young barista came up to our table with a coffee.

"Felicia, right? Here's your coffee." he smiled as he stuck it out in front of me. He looked good. Green eyes, sand blonde hair.

Tall.

Okay, he actually looked really good.

"Oh my god, Felicia! Just take it." Adam said and took the coffee mug from the baristas hands. Had I really checked him out for so long that they noticed. I felt the heat coming already. From the embarrassment, you pervs.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! Thank you so much." I said and made sure my hair was covering my red cheeks.

"You're welcome, Felicia." the barista smiled and then walked back to the counter.

As he had walked away, Adam laughed at me.

"Subtle."

"Was it really that obvious? Do you think he noticed?"

"Fells, I think there's actually some drool on your lap. Or maybe it's some other fluid. I don't want to know but I'm sure it got there when this young man walked up to you. And oh, yes he sure noticed." he laughed even more.

"Shut up!" I put my face in my hands.

A few minutes later, when the redness had faded and Adam finally stopped laughing, we had to get up and go to school. As we passed the counter I saw the young man walking towards me from behind it.

"Oh god no..." I mumbled.

"Felicia. If you want a coffee some time, call me. Or for any reason, actually." he smiled and this time I read his name tag. Adrian.

"Maybe I will. Adrian." I smiled back.

As Adam and I stepped out of the café, he looked as shocked as he could as we started making our way to school.

"What? Why would he even want to give you his number?" he laughed.

"Oh thanks."

"No you're the best. All I meant was that like.. I mean, you were so awkward."

"The correct word is cute."

"Oh really? I bet you don't even dare to text him." he smirked at me.

"Yeah? How much?"

"Doesn't even matter. You wouldn't do it."

I picked up my phone and texted him. All I sent was the smiley that did a nerdy face.

"Wow, you're so brave." Adam laughed at me as he saw what I sent.

Me

Guess who it is ;)

I sent and looked at Adam who looked surprised.

"Miss Collins. I beg your pardon, you're the bravest miss I've ever heard of."

I just laughed at him, I might be the awkward one but he sure is the goofy one.
