Khushi turned to leave after few moments when he didn't reply but stopped feeling her a grip on her wrist. She turned to look at Arnav whose focus was on their hands before he look up at her and smiled "Though it will take me sometime to get used with this deal but I think I like the idea of it. We can walk through the dark together and help to heal each other's wounds." Khushi smiled which soon turned into a chuckle "That's good but seriously Arnav ji, Deal?" and they both laughed this time.

Next Day

Khushi was sitting with Lavanya and Lavanya was quiet surprised with sudden positive change in Khushi but didn't questioned anything. Least she end up messing it when suddenly Khushi started talking about their arrangement and all the work she have to do in order to help Lavanya in fitting into Raizada's bride shoes.

Lavanya smiled uncomfortably in return which was noticed by Khushi and after little bit pestering Lavanya told her everything. From her own realization to the conversation between her and Arnav. Though Khushi understood their point and supported Lavanya but she still felt bad for her friend who had now genuinely started wishing for this marriage but sadly no one can go against what is written in their destiny.

Khushi now also understands where Arnav stands after their last night talks and his fear of commitments and new relations. So she can't say anything to Arnav also and somewhere a little unknown part of her is actually feeling relieved with this information but she don't know why. After all she should be feeling really sad for her friend. She jerked those stupid thoughts away and diverted the topic as the two friends started discussing about their next step in future.

Akash

He looked at Khushi who was watching something on TV and knocked on the door before taking hesitant steps inside the room with a slight smile. "How are you feeling now?" Khushi replied him with smile "I am feeling good, Akash ji. You want to talk about something?" Khushi asked him as she noticed him fidgeting and he have asked this same question in morning also.

Akash sighed and with a nod came straight to the point "Khushi ji, I think you should talk with Payal ji." Khushi's smile vanished as she looked at him taken aback before averting her gaze from him. "Khushi ji, I know whatever happened with you wasn't right and I would never ask you to go against what your heart wants but you and I both know that Payal ji isn't to be blamed. She tried and still want to stand by your side as a responsible sister. I also know that you want same but for some reasons you're pushing her away."

Khushi looked at him surprised, she always knew that Akash is quiet but very mature and understanding person but how did he understand her intentions so correctly. "I won't ask why are you trying to push her away but you should know that it is hurting her and I am sure that I Khushi I know would never want her sister to get hurt because of her. Khushi ji, you're like a little sister to me which I never had. From the moment Bhai brought you here and told us what happened with her, I decided that I'll stand beside you. I will support you and make sure you get all the respect you deserve but surprisingly Bhai took your responsibility so seriously that I didn't have to do anything. I am telling you all this because I never want you to do anything because others want that. You have all the rights to speak what you want and stand for yourself."

Khushi smiled at him warmly through tears and Akash wiped them before speaking again "Therefore, respecting your decision of staying away from Payal ji, I didn't inform her about your condition and told Di to do same but I really feel that we should inform her now. She calls here daily to know about your well being and trust me Di and I feel really bad about hiding all this from her." Khushi looked down while playing with her fingers and Akash keeps his hand upon hers "If you still need time than don't worry we won't tell anything to her. You're family now and family should support each other, right?" Khushi nodded again while wiping her own tears roughly.

"I promise, whatever you decide we'll respect it. If you decide to talk with her then do let me know. I also have siblings, Khushi ji and I know the felling of seeing them hurt and broken. Therefore, couldn't stop myself from talking to you because I know, You and Payal ji both are getting hurt." Khushi nodded at him, feeling difficult to speak a word and Akash left with a smile.

Next day, Khushi entered inside the Akash' room and smiling widely, she told him that she had indeed called Payal and said sorry for her earlier behavior. She also told him that Payal is coming to meet her today and only then she'll tell her about her suicide attempt as she didn't want to scare her in phone only. "That's good, Khushi ji. I am glad to see you smiling and also happy that you'll have your sister by your side." Akash replied with a smiled and ruffled her hairs like she is some child making Khushi smile.

After few days

Everyone were sitting on dining table having their breakfast. Arnav and Lavanya have already told family about their decision to call off their wedding yesterday and Lavanya will be moving back to her flat today. Though, the family felt disappointed but understood their point and didn't force any further.

Khushi looked at everyone nervously before her gaze stopped at Arnav and she gulped again and closed her eyes but taking deep breaths she opened her eyes and decided to speak whatever she wants in a go. "Nani ji, Arnav ji, I want to speak about something." She started with the two persons whose decision matters. She knew that she should be talking and taking only Nani's permission but her heart didn't agree. Arnav ji have supported her against everyone and now he is her friend also. So his view and suggestions also matters in her life now, isn't it?

Arnav looked at her curiously and raised his one eyebrow as if asking to continue, gulping her nervousness she continued "I was thinking to look for a job and also a place for myself to stay." She said it in a go and closed her eyes hearing the falling of spoon from his hands and everyone gasp." She knew this will happen but she needs to take control of her life now and she needs to start from somewhere, this will be her another step for a new life.
