3rd person pov: Lockwood

When they got back downstairs, George gave Lucy an odd look and she nodded back. Before Anthony could ask what that was all about he grinned and simply said. "'Bout time." And walked out.

"What am I missing?" Lockwood asks Luce.

"We were talking about me eventually moving back in." She shrugged and went back over to Jake.

"To be honest since we're working things out, those two will eventually need to move out. We're going to need that room back."

"Are we now?" Anthony could hear mischief in her voice.

"Well yeah," Lockwood sits next to her. "We need a kid with my DNA."

"Do we?" The mischief was still there.

"Yep." He said popping the 'p'.

"Well we'll have to see about that." She said kissing him.

"You two want to go get some of your stuff from Mary's?"

"Yeah... sounds good." She turns to Jake. She some how seemed upset.

"What's wrong Luce."

"Nothing, I'm just happy that everything is working back out." She says hugging him.

"Me too Luce."

"Wanna head over?"

"Yep, let's go." Lockwood jumps up and help her up. "Come on Jake, let's go get some of your stuff from you Aunt Mary's house."

"Weally!?"

"Yeah, come on!" He jumped up and went to the couple.

"We probably should have put his carseat in my car."

"Yeah... well we can do that when we get there because I don't have it off hand." They got in Lockwood's car and headed for the other side of town. She still seemed a little off, but he was not going to pry into it with Jake in the car. But he could still make her feel better.

"Luce...?"

"Yeah?"

"You know I always have and always will love you right?"

"Yeah, I know. I love you too babe." She said giving him a smile. He reaches over and take her hand, he bring it and kiss the back of it and give a flirty smile. "Focus on driving you big goon." She said blushing.

"Fine." He whined looking at the road but keeping her hand in mine he heard her sigh as she lent into his shoulder.

"I can't even begin to articulate how much I've missed times like this."

"Like what?"

"Just us away from our friends making stupid comments."

"Jake is still in the backseat though."

"Yeah, but he quietly coloring. I just meant quiet moments with only the two of us." They got to her sisters house and went right in.

"Hey Mare!" Lucy called into the house.

"What's up?"

Lucy smiles as she tells her sister that she's moving back in with Lockwood. Mary frowns and pulls her into a private room after telling Lockwood to help Jake.

"Lucy, aren't you moving kinda fast? You've already been with him once and broke up with him."

"Mary, that had nothing to do with me not loving him."

"So you do remember why you broke up with him?"

"Yes, at that point our life plans were just too different with how things were going."

"Meaning...?" Lucy sighed and wispered it to Mary. "Why didn't you tell me!?"

"It's not somthing I care to remember."

"Does he know?"

"No."

"You need to tell him!"

"In time."

"No, now."

"Look he might change his mind back and I don't want him knowing that if he doesn't have to."

"Lucy he was involved though."

"Calm down, I promise I'll tell him."

"But when?"

"Whenever I find fit." She sighed.

"Really."

"If that happended to you, would you want to tell them?"

"No..."

"Then stop trying to force me. This is why I didn't tell you."

"Fine." She said finally giving up. Satisfied, Lucy walks back to her boys.

"...And then mama gave me a swoad and-"

"Whatcha telling him big guy?" She asked sitting down on the bed.

"The otha night with the ghost." He said happily.

"Why didn't you tell me Luce?"  Lockwood asks with peirceing eyes.

"I didn't want you to worry or freak out." She says staring back into his eyes and Jake starts grabbing toys and putting them in boxes.

"So he has your amazing Talent?"

"Yes, give him a few years before you start the training."

"But you'll let him be an agent."

"With that level of Talent, it would be a crime to not let him be. As long as he actually wants to he an agent."

"Trust me from how he's talking, he'll want to be."

"He's only four, I'm sure at four neither of us were planning on spending our late childhood and teen years hunting ghosts."

"We can finish this conversation later-because we need to get stuff around to bring back to my place- but I think I did."

"Agreed, but I think you probably wanted to travel the world like your parents." She walked out leaving Lockwood to help Jake.

"Will you get my nightlight, mommy doesn't want me touching it." Jake asks Lockwood.

"Of course big guy, why didn't you make sure your Aunt Mary got it the other day?"

"I was hoping that I would be bwave enough to not need it." He said quietly.

"Jake, you're four, you don't have to be that brave yet." Lockwood kisses his forehead. "Is that why you had a nightmare last night?" He just nods. "Then let's make sure we grab it this time, I don't like seeing you upset."

"I love you daddy." He said hugging Lockwood's leg.

"I love you too big guy." Lockwood said amazed by the little boy and squats down to hug the litte one back. "Now come on, let's get some of your stuff around to bring home." He brakes away from his (probably) soon to be son, and starts packing cloths while Jake continues packing his toys-playing with half of them in the meantime.

When Lockwood was done with Jakes stuff he lets the boy be and finds Lucy. "Hey baby girl."  He said walking in.

"Hey Anth." She said continuing to get her stuff around.

"So what room are we giving him?"

"I honestly feel like there was something about her old room that kept him up last night, along with the fact that he didn't have his nightlight."

"Want to try the attic room then?"

"Sure, might as well. If he ha the sa me issues tonight then we can let him pick which one he wants- unless you care?"

"Not really, I was half thinking that we could turn one of the rooms into a little get away space for you to just have your own space when you need it though."

"Then I would want the attic, that window is perfect for drawing."

"We can figure it out when we get there, I've had something in mind for a long time now- involving your drawing space. Let's load up you two's boxes and head home."
