Avalon Wolcott's P.O.V - Capitol Interviewer
I check my hair one final time. I have spray painted it gold tonight, but its not too crazy, I don't wear a wig like other people do and my hair is naturally blonde.
"You're on." Says the stage manager.
The curtains are closed as I walk onstage. I take my place in my chair and have my back to the audience. I hear the audience chanting my name, waiting for the show to start. I hear the opening music play and I see the stage come to life as the curtains open. My chair turns around and the audience goes wild. I stand up and walk forwards, waving and blowing kisses to the crowd. My beautiful golden dress trails behind me as I walk. "Hello everybody!" I chirp. "Are you ready to get these interviews started!?" I ask the crowd. They cheer. "I can't hear you!" They cheer louder. "That's more like it! Let me ask are you guys as excited as me to finally meet this years tributes?" They continue to cheer. I sit down. "Well here it is, our first tribute for the night, Animal Anikin!" The crowd screams. Animal walks onto stage and sits in the chair next to mine.
"Hello Animal." I say.
"Hello Avalon."
"Are you enjoying the Capitol so far?"
"Yes, I love it." He says shyly.
"And what do you love about it Animal?"
"The things I get to do, the people I get to meet." He smiles.
"Now let's move onto your score in training, a ten!" The crowd cheers. "That's pretty impressive! Are you in an alliance with the careers?"
"No, I'm not with the careers."
"Really? May I ask are you allied with anybody else?"
"I am." He smiles.
"And who might that be."
"You will find out in the games."
"Ok fine, but at least tell me how many in your alliance."
"There are three of us."
"A three way alliance, I like it." The crowd cheers. "So, Animal, as gorgeous as you are, do you have a special girl in your life?"
He smiles and pauses. "No..."
"I saw that smile, who is she?" I beg. The crowd cheers.
"I loved her from the first day I met her, but wouldn't ever say her name."
"Why's that?" I ask.
"I don't know if she loves me back." He admits.
"Who wouldn't love you back? You're gorgeous!" All the girls in the audience cheer.
"You'd be surprised." He says.
"Mmm, so Animal, how do you think you will do in the games?"
"I-"
DING!
"Oh I'm sorry Animal it looks like your time is up. Give it up for Animal Anikin!" The crowd cheers. Animal exits the stage. "Next up we have Ami Portercollus!" Ami bounces onto stage, she is wearing a dark grey laced dress. "Hello Ami!"
"Hello Avalon!" She replies.
"Ok, let's start with something that everybody is curious about. Your seven in training."
Her face goes red. "I guess they just didn't see my natural talents shine through." The crowd cheers.
"So are you in an alliance with the careers Ami?" I ask.
