Regrets(book 1)

FINAL ACTUAL CHAPTER

"What the fuck is going on over there?"

"I-I don't know!" I ran into the other room expecting to see Amber dead or gone or still screaming, but she was only curled up in a ball crying.

"J-Jared I'll have to call you back...Amber's not doing well right now..."

"Understandable. Be gentle with her Hansen." He hung up.

I put my phone in my pocket and walked over to the couch and sat next to Amber.

"Wh-What's wrong?" I asked.

"The one time I finally fall asleep an-and th-they decide to attack m-my dreams turning them in-into nightmares.." She said through sobs.

You know how in most things like movies and books and stuff, the describe or portray the character crying as not ugly?

Yea...No. Amber was ugly when crying. She knew it too. She inhaled like a pig when she did and we laughed about it when she was done crying.

I hugged her and rubbed her back.

She pulled away soon and got up to get a tissue.

She came back and when she did I said, "There's my little piggy."

She laughed and sat next to me, "I appreciate the fact that you don't say anything mean to me unless I want you to."

I hugged her and she hugged back, "I'd never shit talk you. Ever."

"Woah woah woah. You can swear? Willingly?!" She said.

I pulled away from her and looked at her, "Yes. I can willingly swear."

"Holy shit."

"Language."
"You just swore!" She punches me on the arm.

I chuckle, "Ow! I know, I know."

She smiles and kisses my cheek, "So don't be a hypocrite."

"Ok, ok." I smile.

"Fucking dork. What would I do without you?" She giggled.

I shrugged, "I dunno. I hope you wouldn't....Kill yourself..."

She was quiet.

"Ambi?"

She sighed, "I wouldn't promise anything...It....Could have happened..."

"It won't now, right?"

"Right."

"Good."

"Have anything to say about what you've done lately?"

She thought...
