ghosts that linger
With a single blast
the building into itself
did fall, eyesore, gone
Ten stories of death
A burned out shell, where people
once lived, children played
One smoke, from drunken
hand fell among newspapers
Tomorrow's headlines
Now the dust settled
Memories trucked away, new
soil covering old
Tribute to the dead
New life erupts, sun drawn blades
Family playground
Children again play
with the ghosts that linger, now
at peace, once again
