the past reborn, in

black and white, memories of 

from where we all came

what are you feeling

stone faced, smile absent stare, eyes

staring, future bound?

grandma and grandpa

were children once, I wonder

what they were thinking

it brings tears to my

eyes that see how you looked, now

but faded photos
