Drowning in Your Tears
I’ve often wondered,
how many tears the seas hold
and the ocean’s blue.
And of those tears a
plenty. How many darling
have been cried by you.
And of those tears cried,
all those years. How many were
cried because of me.
I’m sorry for the
pain; anguish, fear and sorrow.
But you will be free.
Now, as the waves wash
over me. I understand
the sum of your fears.
I close my eyes and
let go. Feel life slip away.
Drowning in your tears.
