June 6th 2029: White buildings amass over New York; Modern, sharp and block-like buildings. The time is night and most lights are off in the city except the blinding reflection emitting from inside the biggest central building. A tagline on the building reads 'Reptile Hunters'

The TARDIS lands down a small alleyway beside a pizzeria and a hotel. many cars are whizzing up and down the street occasionally and the light from the pizzeria (flashing like a casino) is filling up the view from the alley. The Doctor steps out of the box along with his companion. The Doctor is a mystical man. He straightened his red bow-tie and pulled his trusty sonic screwdriver from his tweed pocket before pulling his companion gently down to the opening of the alleyway. his companion was a ginger girl, she was in love with the adventure and had a husband at home. After what happened with River Song, he was ready to stay out of the travelling life for a while. She was looking very modern (by current standards) wearing a red jumper and black skinny genes. she was ready for action with her black converses. The Doctor pressed down on a button on his device and he proclaimed he was scanning for any alien activity. He found a mutated earth-being and was very intrigued. He set off.

The Doctor moved around the corner of the alleyway. His face lit up at the sight of a Pizzeria. he ran straight into the doors as he let go of his companion's hand. He ran so fast, Amy swore she could've still seen his tweed jackets at the sound of the doors opening. She sighed but followed him inside the restaurant. "Margarita please. with uh... Pepperoni and..." exclaimed the Doctor - excitedly. He sharply looked at the menu and decided, "Sausage! yes, sausage". He looked around at the insides of this restaurant. not exactly family-fun. There were no children around and the room he'd stepped into suddenly felt very drawn out. empty. echoing. No adults either. It was as empty as ever. He glanced at a clock and realised the time. Half four in the morning.

"We'll get that just ready for you. have a sit down, we're totally free at the moment." replied the cashier, "money? It'll be $32,49"

"Blimey" replied the Doctor. he called for Amy. as she peered over at him, previously looking at the floor (she was bored). "Have you got any money?".

"Of course I have, I brought $100 when you said we'd be going to America." said Amy. there was a look in her eyes that notified the doctor that she didn't want to spend a lot of the money at the moment. After a few moments of sadness in the Doctor's eyes, she finally agreed. "Okay, here you go" she lent the Doctor two scores in which the Doctor used to pay.

"Thank you, sir. Sit down, I insist" replied the Cashier happily. The Doctor and Amy sat down in the corner and began discussing the issues at hand. They began talking when,

"Doctor, Why are we at a restaurant if there is a mutant?" asked Amy, looking at her nails in boredom.

"I saw the restaurant, I went in. I do a lot of things in the moment. Just live it. We can deal with that later.." replied the Doctor. he slapped his legs in excitement for the pizza. After only fifteen minutes, it arrived. The Doctor offered Amy a few slices which she accepted. She was very hungry anyway. The Doctor ate one slice before getting an enormous amount of sauce on and around his mouth. He glanced out of the window and noticed a huge white block underneath the moon. the light from inside was certainly brighter than the many empty and dark streets beneath it. He packed away the rest of the pizza in small napkins which he pushed into his pockets and Amy's bag. They said goodbye before leaving. They moved around some of the streets until they finally reached the door of this bright blinding block of a building.

The Doctor found himself locked out of the building, tugging on the door hard. He brought out his screwdriver and activated the unlocking mechanism. Within seconds, they had entered the building.

"Ah. We've been expecting you. Doctor, yes?" came a mysterious voice. It peeked around the corner, "Must be, only one with the key...". He had black hair with a quiff, wearing a doctors coat. "My name is Doctor Michael Manum. I'm glad you came all the way from Edinburgh. I'm your new partner Doctor. uh, who's this?"

he hesitated to speak, "um, my friend, Amy Pond." he pushed Amy forward and urged her to shake Michael's hand. Michael began to walk upstairs so their both followed. As they walked, the new doctor explained to them what this project was about.

"I mean you never said you were bringing a friend. and you don't sound very Scottish." asked Michael curiously. but before the Doctor could reply, he continued talking, "This project of ours is very interesting. I'll show you." He brought them to a blank-white-room. Could've been brighter than the outside itself. It had many concept art drawings in the walls. Chicken - regular chicken - on one, dinosaur on another, quite a small one. Gene coding, diagrams of the equipment, mutated chickens and other whatnot.

Michael then opened a coop and mini-dinosaur-looking chickens ran out, "Lovely aren't they. the people of New York will love the next one. These can't bite obviously but..."

"What's the next one?" asked the Doctor in a calm manner.

"Ah, the next one is going to be amazing" replied Michael

"WHAT'S THE NEXT ONE!" he shouted.

"This. Is the dinosaur lab. And our new task, with you, is to bring back the Velociraptor." the Doctor's face dropped in disbelief.
