Previously, the Doctor, Amy and Rory arrived at the Shadow Proclamation, the Space Police, to ask them for a full-scale investigation of what happened on Earth and the Raptors.
Amy and Rory were left discussing in the main room, the Doctor and the Shadow Architect were in the backroom readying up plans for the war.The Doctor was reluctant but really wanted answers. He agreed to listen to the Architect's plan.
Meanwhile, in the main room, Amy and Rory were still discussing - by this point, Amy had laid down and was drifting to sleep until she jumped.Aloud slapping noise was heard from upstairs, Amy (as stated earlier)jumped up from sleeping and began running up the stairs. Rory gave a sigh but followed, they silently pushed themselves up to the first floor to try and investigate the going-on's of the Judoon. Amy seemed to be excited by the notion, Rory not so much - as he didn't won't to be punished by the so-called Space Police.
"Should we really be doing this?" he whispered to Amy
"Shush,Don't worry, they won't notice..." replied Amy, "We just have to be," she paused.
"Very," she paused again."Qui-" she was interrupted. A large growl from the top of the stairs and a mean look from the one of the aliens. His eyes went red. Glowing in crimson.
"Run!" she yelled. She pulled Rory down the glass stairs and glanced around the room. They couldn't escape to the TARDIS, it was obvious. They couldn't escape to the Doctor's room, they had locked it - and the head of the police were in there. She decided on a hallway to the right and ran straightaway, Rory's hand tight in her grip."Quickly,"she yelled again, loosening her grip as Rory was lagging behind. The corridor was a blank white, no windows but lights littered across the ceiling. The hallway was cut short when they reached a door, Amy pushed hard down on the bar and it unlocked the entrance. Rory had made a quick brake but had to keep running, following Amy's footsteps. Amy made sure to slam the door behind them.
"This way," she cried, pulling Rory through a library, which they had entered. Amy let go of his hand and moved to stand behind a stack of books.Rory followed once again and they both knelt down, trying as hard as they could to stay covered. They were very silent, and the seconds spent waiting for the Judoon to enter were the longest in their lifetimes, their hearts were beating as fast as an aeroplane's propeller would.
"Is it safe?" whispered Rory. He didn't want to leave the safety of the bookshelf unless it was clear that they could escape.
"Should be," replied Amy and they both lifted themselves up.Meanwhile, in the Shadow Architect's meeting, the Doctor is exchanging his information with the Shadow Architect. The Meeting was short but noteworthy. The Doctor scrambled back many papers he had sprayed on the desk. He took up the articles he had used and placed them deep inside his pocket.
"Time to find Amy and Rory, I'll try and find these watchers in my travels. They'll show up again eventually." said the Doctor after sighing, his speech slow.He took to the exit of the room and raised his eyebrows at the noticeable disappearance of his companions. He spoke softly to the Architect, "Where are they?"
"Oh Doctor..." replied the woman, the Doctor's patience was running thin.
"Where are they!" he raised his voice. Judoon cluttered and ran over to the Doctor. One of them pulled out a laser-device and pointed it at the Doctor. Clearly a weapon."Cease, Doctor" ordered the Head Judoon, known as this role by a badge on his uniform. He pointed the laser directly at the chest of the Doctor. The Doctor frowned and looked noticeably uneasy and angry. He turned to his left,
"What is this..." asked the Doctor, still angry in his words and straight to the Shadow Architect.
"Your arrest." replied the Architect. The Doctor's whole face dropped - the Architect continued, this time in demeaning manner as if to condemn the Doctor, "Take him to the cells!"Just within a snap of a finger, the Doctor was forced to his knees, then hurled away in the arms of two soldiers through the same corridor that the companions ran through to escape earlier.
"Big trouble" he thought, "Very big trouble..."As the Doctor was handled and taken away, the Shadow Architect, proud in her stride, returned to the room. A familiar voice was heard behind her in the white room. Screen's turned on and it was the same figures, same creatures. The Watchers of the Universe stood in a black room on the other side, akin to their appearance in the New York basements. The Doctor's grand hearing skills taught him the sides of this war. The Police had been captured.
The Doctor had to think of a plan. Again, he had a very big issue to deal with. Amy and Rory missing, the Judoon had him captured, the literal space police; the Shadow Architect under the wrath of the Watchers of the Universe and of course, the war with the powers too - the enemies of this season thus far. How could the Doctor stop them when he was fighting on his own against a force that was, for all he could know, in control this whole time - away from detection.
The Judoon brought him down the corridor and through the library. Across the depths of the many bookshelves (and the hiding companions) and thrown inside a small cell. Locked with unbreakable chains. The worst creatures and enemies of the known observable universe were trapped in here, he couldn't get out - on his own.
Meanwhile, Amy and Rory were still hiding as quietly as possible behind the many bookshelves. Their hearts began beating rapidly with the noise of their entrance but was alerted to the crisis as the Doctor called out their names, with indication that he needed their help. They had to devise a plan to get the Doctor out, but how?
