WeiZhou's body was soft and his skin was slightly cold. Jingyu began to wake up, smiling as he pulled Zhou closer, rubbing his nose against the back of WeiZhou's neck.
WeiZhou stirred in his peaceful sleep, moving his arms upward and taking a hold of the arms wrapped around him. He sighed satisfactorily, but was still deep in slumber. Jingyu kissed his neck lovingly, leaving little red marks as his lips moved. WeiZhou whimpered slightly in his sleep, beginning to shake slightly.
Jingyu's heart rate picked up and he opened his eyes, seeing a tall dark figure in the corner of the room, red eyes a hot contrast to the black of night.
The creature stepped out, bathed in moonlight. It was lean and tall, with long messy hair. Long arms pooled under it's hips, and there giant fingernails gathered. It's body was torn and pieces of flesh hung off available areas. When Jingyu looked up, it's face broke out in a disgusting grin, teeth long and sharp as knifes.
He sucked in a hot breath, trying to shake awake WeiZhou, but to no avail. The boy was fast asleep, lost in dream-land where this wasn't happening.
In a moment of fear, Jingyu's arms loosened up, and the monster took the opportunity to lunge, sinking it's gruesome claws into WeiZhou skin. The younger man awoke with a sharp breath, but it was much to late for him to be conscious. In seconds, WeiZhou was yanked out of Jingyu's arms, and his eyes fluttered closed.
Jingyu sat up, a pool of Zhou's blood wetting the bedsheets. It cackled, galloping to the corner of the room and beginning to tear apart WeiZhou's flesh with it's teeth.
"WeiZhou!" Jingyu screamed as he watched his lover being torn apart. He couldn't bear to look at it any longer, so he turned away, trying to blink away tears. "WeiZhou! WeiZhou! WeiZhou! WeiZhou!" He screamed the name over and over again. He opened his eyes, turning his head to look at the corner of the room. The thing was still there, but WeiZhou wasn't in it's claws.
Suddenly it started slowly walking towards him. Knowing that he needed to get up, he tried to move, but his body was paralyzed. He opened his mouth and screamed, trying to get away.
WeiZhou was alerted to Jingyu when he began to yell. He sat up, rubbing his eyes slightly and looking down at Jingyu. The sun was coming up and the sky outside was painted beautiful shades of pink and orange. WeiZhou could see clearly the sunrise through the three giant windows, but he couldn't understand what Jingyu was screaming about.
"Jingyu, what's wrong?" WeiZhou asked, slowly placing his hand on Jingyu's jaw. His heartbeat picked up because Jingyu was struggling, acting like he couldn't move.
"It... it.... it... WeiZhou..." Jingyu was panting. "I... can't... move."
WeiZhou stood up taller, eyebrows sewn together in confusion. "You can't move? Does it hurt?" Jingyu shook his head quickly.
WeiZhou's expression changed as he released what was happening. A look of concern overtook his face, and he took some initiative, propping Jingyu up on the headboard and trying to get him to take deep breaths.
Yet, he had no idea the battle that was going on in Jingyu's head. The creature that had been there was gone, and his body was starting to loosen up. He wiggled his fingers slowly and breathed more freely, relaxing when he felt WeiZhou's hands on his arms.
"Jingyu, it's okay, I'm here." WeiZhou said. Jingyu felt the last bit of tenseness leave his body, and so he moved slightly. His back was soaked with sweat and his eyes felt raw from crying.
He moved forward, taking WeiZhou into his arms, trying to calm himself down. The nightmare had been disturbing, but that was his first time having sleep paralysis. When he let WeiZhou go, the other man only moved closer, sitting basically on Jingyu's lap, since it felt more personal.
He took a hold of Jingyu's hands, feeling the sweltering warth from his palms. "What happened?" He asked fearfully.
"I had a bad dream." Jingyu sighed. "I usually had nightmares when you were gone, but, never ones like that." He let go of WeiZhou's hand, running his own through his jet black hair. "There was this thing... this... lady..." he felt bad as soon as he let the word slip. "Not lady. Monster. We were sleeping but I woke up because it was staring at me. Next thing I knew it grabbed you and I started screaming-" Jingyu shook his head. "It's stupid. Let's just forget about it."
"Jingyu, no." WeiZhou sighed. "You know it's okay to tell me things, alright? It's not stupid. We both get nightmares."
"Really?" Jingyu was surprised. WeiZhou slept like a rock, having those characteristics meant he rarely moved, talked, snored, or did anything but snuggle further into the blanket.
"Yeah, of course." He shifted slightly in Jingyu's lap. "When I left home I had nightmares about you constantly. You getting into car crashes, or moving on fast to be with someone else." He shrugged shyly, turning his head. "But what could I do."
"You could of came back." Jingyu said, looking him dead in the eye. "ZhouZhou, honestly, three days without you would have kicked me ass and taught me a lesson." With that, Zhou turned his head, smiling at Jingyu.
"You really would have dropped everything to take me back?" ZhouZhou said softly. "You were moving on so fast."
"I'd drop anyone and anything for you, my love." Jingyu leaned forward, connecting their lips. "I missed you so much."
"I missed you too." WeiZhou whispered in between kisses. "How long do you think you have until you have to leave?"
"I don't know." Jingyu kissed the corner of his lips. "But we should get up. Try to make the most of it, huh?"
WeiZhou nodded. "I'll take you to the ocean first."
