Wanted

Chapter One

One day she was walking to work after school, when the weather decided to change to sprinkling rain. She made her way inside the building, the place was full of people and the tables were filling up fast, Ava took her backpack and things to the break room, she put her uniform on and placed her belongings in her locker, making her way to the kitchen. She's had fifty orders in the last hour, Ava was on her break and sitting at one of the tables when she noticed a man walked in, wearing a black hoodie, dark sunglasses, the hood of the jacket was over his head, black boot cut jeans, Ava kept watching man until he pulled out a gun and aimed it at one of the cashiers "give me all you cash, now!" he yelled, everyone started panicking till he shot the ceiling "everyone shut up and get down on the ground!" he ordered, the customers and employees did as he wanted, Ava hid under the table she was at so she would be slightly hidden.

The man looked back at the cashier and pointed the gun back at them "open the register" he said, the employee did and handed all the bills and coins to him "grab a bag and put the money inside" he ordered, the cashier grabbed a paper bag from behind him and started putting the change inside; once the bag was handed to the man, he was about to grab it till a blonde man came running at him from behind and tackled him to the ground, everyone was surprised along with the burglar who was currently on his back on the floor, the young man punched the burglar in the face which knocked him out cold, the man stood up, looked at everyone then left the building without saying a word. The building was silent, Ava stood up and looked out the window noticing flashing blue and red flashing lights parked outside, the customers walked out the building and the police checked each person that walked out, two of them came inside and dragged the man who was unconscious out and into one of the cruisers. Ava's manager came out from the back and told all the employees could go home early.

Ava walked down the street, as the street lights started to flicker on, while the sun fell almost touching the horizon, she turned a corner and noticed an armored truck parked along the side of the road, she didn't care much for it so, Ava walked past the vehicle until she heard the engine start up, she slowly turned around, Ava didn't see or hear anyone enter the vehicle and she couldn't see if there was a driver, Ava shrugged it off thinking it started by a button on the key's or something, she turned back in the direction she was headed. Without her noticing, the vehicle started moving slowly following her.

The human girl found an empty park and laid down on a bench, she watch the sky above her get darker, one by one the stars started to appear, the tiredness that she didn't feel before finally hit her, she tried to fight the feeling but it over took her and she eventually dozed off. While she was asleep, a faint yellow glow from their eyes could be seen hiding among the tree's as it watched her sleep. A green glow appeared that illuminated some of the tree's and a bit of the figure. Three other figures came through the blue-green swirl, they turned and saw the figure looking back at them. They readied their battle stances till the yellowed eyed figure pressed his figures up against his head "I need a bridge!" he ordered. Seconds later another swirl appeared behind him and he ran through leaving the other's at the location he just left "why was a Con' here?" a deep voice asked, one of them walked to the spot the yellowed eyed figure had been and looked beyond the tree's "my guess would be, it has something to do with that human" another deep voice announced.

The next day, Ava got up off of the bench and stretched her body out, she stood up and walked out of the park; making her way into town. Ava went to a small store to grab supplies, she walked out with her backpack full of food; she looked around, noticing a green SUV parked in front of the entrance to the store, she walked passed it and went back to school. The SUV followed her close far behind so she wouldn't notice. Ava climbed the steps of the school and made her way inside as the SUV parked in front of the school.

Ava was listening to the lesson that she was being given, but noticed a girl with black hair and pink streaks look at her from across the room, Ava turned to look at her and the girl started giving her the stink eye, Ava raised her eyebrow at the Asian girl, she didn't change her expression and but looked at the teacher when when he noticed the two girls looking at each other "Ava, Miko. Please pay attention, this is going to be on your test next week" he stated, Ava just nodded and Miko didn't respond but laid back in her chair and crossed her arms in boredom. The bell rang when the day ended, Ava walked down the stairs noticing the girl named Miko get into the green SUV that she had seen earlier, the car didn't mean anything to her so she made her way back to the park.

She plopped back down on the bench, she opened her pack and took out a ham sandwich and started munching down on it. What she didn't notice was Miko and a big green bot hiding out in the tree's, watching her. Miko looked up at the bot and frowned "why are we watching the girl from my school, Bulk?" she asked out of boredom, he looked down at the human girl "Optimus, ordered me to watch her in case any Cons' come back, but, do you know why she doesn't just go home?" he wondered, the pink streaked Asian girl looked back at the other human eating "she doesn't have one. What I've heard is that she was kicked out of her house when she was ten and she's been living on the street ever since" Miko explained, Bulkhead felt sympathy for the human, living without any parent's must be so lonely for her "what's her name?" he asked, Miko looked up at her guardian "why?" she wondered, "so I can tell Optimus, he needs to know" Bulkhead stated, "her name is Ava and if you ever want to talk to her, don't expect any answers because she's mute" the girl answered, the wrecker only nodded and continued watching the human girl eat her food.

Night came pretty quick and Ava was already out cold, Bulkhead had already alerted the Prime about the girl, he arrived shortly after receiving the call from the wrecker and was at the green bots side watching her "we can't leave her out here" the leader mentioned, Bulkhead looked up at his leader "then, what do you want to do?" he asked, Optimus continued watching the small form breathe steadily as she slept "we take her somewhere else, so she can sleep more comfortably" Bulkhead nodded and called for a bridge while the Prime transformed into a read and blue semi, his holoform climbing out of the driver seat and walking over to the human. He put her in the passenger seat of his vehicle form, deactivated his holoform and drove through the swirling vortex.
