"I mean, they took it pretty well," I tell Peter. We're at lunch now and Peter seems to be more embarrassed than anything else.

He's leaning on the table, his head laying on the cold surface as his arms laid limply at his side. I roll my eyes at the boy as I hear more whispers around us.

"Peter knows the Avengers," one voice asked.

"Oh, my god, Peter," says another.

They keep talking and gossiping, the voices slowly getting louder and louder before it becomes the conversation of the lunch room.

I roll my eyes again and go back to eating my hamburger.

"Come on, Peter. You need to eat something," I say to him. He looks up at me, a dead look on his face. I snort at it but quickly cover my mouth with my hand and look back down.

"They're all talking about me, (Y/N)," he whines. I laugh again before going back to eating, shaking my head a little.

After taking a few bites and listening to Peter complain, I saw Mr. Stark coming over to our table. He looked... annoyed? Concerned? Some emotion I couldn't pinpoint.

When he got to the table, he sat down and pulled out a lunch box. It was pink and had hello kitty's littered over it. I laughed at it.

The laughter at the lunchbox soon turned to laughter at Peter as Mr. Stark pushed t over to him, saying, "here's your lunch, Petey."

I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair. Peter reluctantly took the lunch box and opened it up.

As Mr. Stark stood, Peter whispered, "I hate you."

Mr. Stark let out a hearty laugh and responded, "you love us. I know you do."

Peter simply went back to eating and I was slapping my knee from laughing so hard. Peter looked away after a few minutes of me wheezing, he was embarrassed.

After he finished eating, he pushed the lunch box onto the opposite side of the table and proceeded to act like it never happened.

"What's so funny," he asks, turning to me. I wheeze one more time and end up having a coughing fit.

When I catch my breath I slam my hand on the table and tell Peter, "dude that was hilarious. Oh, my god."

I start ranting about just how funny that was and I keep going on and on until the tour guide speaks up.

"Now, kids, listen up. We've been granted access to some of the higher floors. You will all remain in a straight line and walk together. Got it," she asks, eyeing all the kids.

"Finish yo your lunch and use the restroom. You have ten minutes," she says before waiting for kids at the doorway.

Most kids make a beeline for the bathroom and I'm no different. I walk towards the bathroom and wait in the very long line.

While in the line I hear a few voices from behind me talking, "yeah, (Y/N) is such a freak. Have you ever even talked to her?"

It's Alyssa and her friends. I ignore them and pretend I don't hear them while waiting. Their words get more and more hurtful until, "I heard she thinks she has powers. Teleportation and such."

I fight the urge to turn around and slap her as I walk into the bathroom and towards a stall. I can hear the girls talking, even after I finish using the restroom.

It was like they were purposefully following me. But when I went up to Peter, the fled. Probably in fear of Peter and his connection to the Avengers.

Hey, I don't blame them. If my friend turned out to be the adopted son of very powerful people then... I don't know, I'd be pretty scared. Oh wait... wait no...

"Peter, are you the adopted son of the Avengers," I ask him. He gives me a strange, bewildered look.

"No? I mean- maybe? I'm not really sure," he responds. I nod.

The tour guide guides us to our next room. It holds training equipment and other objects. I look around the room and pay close attention to everything in it. And everyone.

Wanda and Natasha seemed to be battling it out in some strange way. There was way too much movement to actually tell. I simply watched, completely lost.

After watching the two battle it out, they turned and let some students ask questions. After that, they picked on a very embarrassed Peter and left.

It was a good few hours after that when the guide led us to a large room. It was split down the middle by a curtain and had signs hanging on each side.

On the right, female. On the left, male. Wait... are we staying the night? Since when? I glance over at Alyssa as she pulls out a bag. I glare at her and she glared back.

I'm not prepared for this. Oh, wait! I have teleportation powers, I can easily wormhole my clothes over here. I have to go to the bathroom to do it though. I'll have to wait for the right time.

"Ok, kids. We still have a few more hours til you kiddos have to go to bed so go ahead and play games or something," the guide says before walking away, leaving us kids alone.

"Let's play truth or dare," one kids screams. All the other kids immediately agree and we manage to form a large circle, Peter sitting next to me.

"Mandy, truth or dare," the same kid from before says.

And so the game begins.
