i have the body of a girl
and the heart of a jackrabbit
if you see me under the full moon
take a closer look and you will see
that my leg is forever twitching
prepping me to run for
there will always be coyotes
nipping at my heeli have spent my adolescence running
and i dont think i will ever stop
even when i sleep i dream of running
and even when i am still my heart is noti am a jackrabbit masquerading as a girl
and this fear will always surround me
of coyotes with their snapping teeth
and death just nipping at my heel
