Fallen Star (BOTDF Adopted Me?)

It's Finally Over.

**Ashley P.O.V**
    I don't know how long it's been. I've been in this white, silent room for god knows how long, it could have been weeks, maybe even days, I just don't know anymore. I've sort of given up on trying to keep up with the days since Cody came in and told me about what happened to my baby, that was the day I gave up. I tried to hang myself with my bed sheet, but someone came in and cut me down, now I don't have any kind of blanket, or sheet, nothing... So then I decided to stop eating, they'd slide my rice under the door and I'd dump it under my bed then give the plate back... But sure enough, they found out about that too... So, I was then beaten again and now I get a tube forced down my throat when I refuse to eat... I've forgotten what my dads look like, Ryan's face is just a big blur, Hell, I barely even remember my band and the people who were in it... I just don't care anymore.
    But today, today something changed. I was laying in the floor, staring at the ceiling, as that is the most exciting thing I can possibly do. But that's when I heard people shouting... I thought it was Cody and Ryan fighting or something along those lines... But no, these screams were different. Footsteps started running towards my room, I quickly sat up and scooted my back against the wall just before two large men came busting through my door. I jumped and put my head into my knees and covered my head.
    "Ashley.. Ashley Vanity" A nice calm voice called to me as I felt a hand on my arm. "We're here to get you out of here."
    I looked up at the police officer as I felt tears of joy escape from my eyes. The two men helped me to my feet as they brought over to a gurney that was placed outside my room, they helped me lay down and they wheeled me out. I continued to stare up and the two men, one looked down and told me everything will be okay, that I'm safe now.
    "Am I dead..?" I asked, over and over again, but got no response as I was wheeled into an ambulance and taken to the hospital. The whole way there I kept thinking that I was being driven to Heaven or Hell, whichever one I knew I was dead, I had to be dead... I looked over at the EMT who was giving me fluids.
    "Am I dead..?" I asked one last time.
    He looked at me and gave me a soft smile. "Ms.Vanity, You are very much alive. And very lucky to be alive as well... We're going to help you get better okay?"
    I smiled weakly, "Okay."
**Jayy P.O.V**
    We took Cam to the doctor and had called the police and told them about Cam coming home with the piece of paper, but apparently, apparently, they needed a warrant before they could bust into the damn place, and god knows how long it takes to get a damn warrant for a damn building that's been abandoned for years! Oh, not to mention, we were told to stay AWAY from the building and to let the police to their job... I was going to go anyway, but Dahvie and Ryan both talked me out of it.. I swear, if my little girl dies before they go in and get her, I'm going to go on a murdering spree.
    I know my little girl is strong though, she's to stubborn to die... But it's been so long, there's just no telling now... The horrible pictures and videos and messages stopped coming in forever ago, so we don't know it Ash is still alive or not... Until that fateful day. 
    I was reading on the couch as Ryan played with Cam on the floor when there was a heavy knock on the door. I immediately jumped up and rushed over, something in my gut was telling me that it was going to be something good... I yanked open the door to find the investigator who was helping is find Ash.
    "Please tell me some good news, sir." I said, a sense of hope rising in my voice.
    "We found her.." I gasped. "But, she's not all the way 'there' right now... Her captors did enough to break her mental psyche."
    My eyes widened as I turned to Ryan and Dahvie, who had came rushing down the stairs when the door was opened. I then turned back to the investigator, "Can we go and see her now?" I asked.
    He shrugged his shoulders. "I would advise giving her a few days to get... Adjusted. She wouldn't recognize you guys anyway, she's delusional... But, if we can have some family pictures, I think we can start to get her back. Once she's stable enough, then you guys may visit."
    I felt tears sting in my eyes as Dahvie and Ryan ran to find some pictures. "But... She is okay right? Our baby is okay?"
    He gave me a slight nod. "She's alive, but she's dehydrated and she's lost a little to much weight... And there are a few other things that need to be fixed and addressed as well..." He paused as he took the pictures and put them safely in his pocket. "We will call you guys when she is ready to have visitors. Thank you for your time."
    "Thank you for finding her!" We exclaimed as we closed the door.
    I think all three of us just ended up falling to our knees and hugging eachother, crying tears of happiness. Hell, Cam even made his way over to us and nuzzled his way into the middle of all of us. We laughed and hugged him tightly as we continued to cry.

    Some time had passed, but we finally got the call we've been waiting for, Ashley is ready for visitors. As soon as we hung up, all of us ran to the car and just gunned it all the way to the hospital. As soon as we arrived, we made our way up to her room. I smiled to Dahvie and Ryan as I turned to knock on her door.
    "Come in." A soft, beautiful voice said from the other side.
    My heart was racing and my hand was shaking as I pushed open the door and walked in. 
    There she was, sitting up in bed, slowly munching on disgusting hospital food. She looked like almost the same, but the investigator was right, she has lost a lot of weight, it made her look so sickly... And it looked like the doctors had to shave her hair off... But she was still there, our baby girl was finally back.    
    She looked up and smiled at us. "Dad!" she cried as she threw her arms out to us. We both ran to either side of her and just hugged her as tears started to be shed once more. She held us so tightly and kept saying how much she missed us, and how much she loved us. Which only made Dahvie and I cry harder. But I eventually forced myself to let her go to make room for Ryan and Cam. 
    Ryan walked over, with Cam in his arms. He smiled down at her, "You still remember me, right?", he chuckled.
    He knelt down and she kissed him, "How could I forget the man I love?" Her voice cracked as she teared up again.
    She then reached out and took Cam and held her close to her as she wept. Ryan sat next to her and put his arm around her and Cam and held them both close to him. I went over to where Dahvie was sitting and decided to sit on his lap as we sat and took in the moment. Our baby was alive, her son was alive and healthy as well. We had our family together once again, and we couldn't have it any other way.

    Cody, Ryan, and Ronnie were all sent to prison. I felt horrible because Ash had to go and testify against them. She had to point out all the horrible things that were done to her and Cam. They showed the jury the pictures that they took and sent to us, which were disgusting and they exposed our daughter in such horrendous way... Do you know how many people had to hold me back and prevent me from KILLING these disgusting excuses for human beings... But Ash held strong, she didn't let the judges questions, Cody's defendant, or Cody's evil gaze bring her down. I'm proud of her, she survived something so horrible, yet she stood and kept her head held up high. That's my girl.
    After the three scumbags were taken away, we were all allowed to leave, but not before the judge gave us special protection. We've got our own "bodyguard" for a short while, just in case Cody's friends who AREN'T in prison decide to come looking for us.
    But, I feel like I can actually let out a sigh of relief now. My family is back together, and they're safe. I don't feel like anything else can happen to us now, it's finally all over.
