-Sometime Later-
I smiled as I lightly bounced Candy's daughter, Alice Dawn, on my knee. Ever since her and I got out of rehab, we've become the best of friends. She got out a few weeks after me and we ended up meeting each other at the foster home, me personally, i'm glad I went there on that day. The only reason I was at the home in the first place was because I was suppose to meet the family who adopted Cam... But they didn't show. As I was about to leave, I ran into a woman with bright green hair and red contact lenses, as I started to apologize I realized that it was Candy! She came her to get Alice back, which I am more than glad to see them reunited, it warmed my heart when I saw them embrace for the first time in who knows how long... And ever since that day, we've gotten a lot closer.
"So... Did you ever find the people who adopted Camden?" She asked as she sat down next to me.
I sighed softly and shook my head no. "No, we were suppose to meet up a few times, but they never ever showed for the meets... It's making me so mad, especially since I made a promise to protect him..."
She looked and me and gently rubbed my back. "Don't worry... You'll find him soon enough. I promise."
I smiled softly and hugged her then handed her daughter back to her. "Thank you Candy.... I'll see you soon. Bye bye Alice."
Candy smiled as Alice giggled and waved to me. I smiled and waved back as I walked out the door of her house and walked home.~~~***~~~***~~~***~~~
I walked down the deserted sidewalk as I was making my way back home. I didn't realize that I stayed at Candy's house this long, it's so late... I sighed softly and picked up the pace. As I jogged, I passed a dark alleyway.
"Psst... Ashley!" A voice called from the alley.
I jumped and looked into the darkness. "H-Hello..? Who's there??" I called, squinting my eyes.
"Ashley!" The voice called out as something moved in the shadows.
I bit my lip and walked into the alley, to my surprise, it was an old buddy of mine... Well, I buddy I want to forget.
"Hey Logan.... How's business...?" I asked softly.
"Great! Say, I haven't seen you around that often... Come to buy some more stuff?" He asked, holding out a pipe and a plastic bag filled with white powder.
I bit my lip and shook my head no. "No... I don't do drugs anymore... Sorry Logan."
He looked disappointed as he put the stuff away. Once they were safely placed in his pocket, he crossed his arms tightly over his chest. "You didn't rat me out... Did you??"
I quickly shook my head no. "Come on, do you honestly think I'd sell you out?"
He shrugged then pulled me close to him by the collar of my shirt. "Well, if you aren't going to buy anymore, I think it's time you pay your tab... Remember, I said it had to be paid by the end of December... It's January now, I told you about this in June baby!" He growled.
My eyes widened and I tried pulling away from him. "I forgot! I'm sorry! I'll get the money to you soon!" I exclaimed.
He glared at me and pushed me to the ground. "No, I've waited way to long... I'll get my money... BOYS!" He called back into the alley. The sound off feet jumping to the ground and walking towards us could easily be heard.
My eyes widened and I quickly grabbed onto Logan's jacket sleeve. I kept begging him to call them off and that i'd pay him back by tomorrow, but he wouldn't budge, before I knew it, I was surrounded by 5 guys. All of them were wearing black, long-sleeved shirts, long dark pants, and black shoes. They also had their heads covered by their hoodies so I could barely make out their faces. I looked up at them, begging and pleading still, but they all just laughed at me.
Sometime passed then I felt some guys boot connect to my chin. A sharp pain ran from my chin all the way to the back of my head. I groaned slightly and fell to my side.
"Well well well... I never thought I'd see you again.." A familiar voice chuckled as a heavy pressure was put onto my chest.
My eyes widened and I looked up to see Cody's smirking face. I gasped and tried pushing him off of me. "What the hell are you doing here???" I asked/growled.
He laughed again and knelt down, lightly kissing my chest. "Well, i'm kind of the big boss around here now. All these guys here work for me. I knew it was only a matter of time before you came crawling back to me." He smirked.
I growled again and spat in his eye. "I would never come crawling back to you, you little rapist.... How did you get out of jail anyway!!"
He sneered and punched my nose, causing it to bleed profusely. "I only had to stay there for 3 months, they let me go cause I'm still 17. I'm still a minor." He smirked and gripped my neck. "Now I get to deal with you myself, you worthless piece of trash!" He exclaimed as he tightened his grip on my neck and started slamming my head into the concrete.
I cried in pain every time my head hit ground, and I couldn't scream aloud, one of the guys shoved something down my throat... I couldn't tell what it was either because, after the first few times my head hit thr ground, my vision started to blur. That's when I started to try and scream, but it was silenced... No one could hear me, no one could see me, and no one even knows where I am....I could die here....
