I'm grumpy today, can anyone blame me?

Am I jealous?

I can't be, I already have Peeta.

But I have Gale. I had Gale.

Argh!! I'm really confused right now that I'm starting to pull the roots of my hair off my head.

I want to kill that Agatha girl...

"Katniss, what are you doing?"

I snap out of my reverie, look up and see Peeta. He then sits beside me.

"N-nothing, what are you talking about?" I laugh hysterically.

"You're crazy." he chuckles. I playfully shove him on the shoulders.

"You're crazier!"

"Yes. Crazy about you..." he leans in for a kiss. I was surprised but I respond.

I think I'm the bad guy here...

I have a dog and a cat, and I can only keep one.

I jerk back when I heard someone clear his throat. It was Gale. I smile to myself. Let's see how this plays out.

"Gale." I smile at him. He just stares at us, his face blank but his eyes furious.

"Sorry." says Peeta with an innocent smile.

"Doesn't bother me, really," but his face shouts otherwise, "mom just told me to call after you since dinner's ready." he then stalks off.

Was it that long? It seems that we just got here...

"So how's your mother, Katniss?" Hazelle asks as she takes a bite from her lamb chop.

"She's good. Better actually, got a hold of herself. I thought she'd lose it again but thank god she got it controlled." I smile a little bitterly. 

Peeta and I are living under the same roof, leaving mom back at my house but she was rarely there. She was always at the local hospital, drowning herself with work. Maybe to forget. If it was not for Peeta, maybe I was long gone, too.

"That's good to hear. I was hoping on having some quality time with her one of these days."

"I'll let her know."

While we were talking, I couldn't help but notice how touchy and flirty Agatha has become to Gale. They were sitting opposite to us so I can see every bit of it. 

We're eating, for God's sake! Respect, doesn't she have a little? I thought with great annoyance.
