𝐎𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬, Eli doesn’t feel as affected by possibilities or prospects anymore. Not when there was a constant distraction in the form of lustrous purple locks, wafts of freshly-bloomed flowers, and shimmering emerald beauty.
“There has been a string of new murders occurring in Tokyo.”
The sombre voice of the newscaster catches Eli’s attention, and frowning, the blonde reaches forward to grab the remote from the coffee table, increasing the volume slightly.
“Many of the victims have been stabbed to death or mauled by a blunt item.”
Her brows furrowed further at that, her mind habitually cooking up ways to punish the perpeturor, when she finds them. A bludgeoning would seem fitting.
Then, she remembers that the White Cloaks were no longer, or at least, she plans to make them history. Memories.
She sighs and runs a tense hand through her blonde tresses, mind wandering to anywhere else than the prospect of the vigilanté group she had left behind.
“Onee-chan?”
Alisa calls, her voice lit with sisterly affection and a touch that reminded Eli that she was home. Nothing could harm her here.
She had a mug of hot chocolate in hand, her light blonde tresses tousled, and light blue eyes — that were so similar to Eli’s — speaking of comforting warmth.
“Here.”
Alisa snuggles the mug gently into her older sister’s hands, earning herself a small ‘thanks’, and she heads back into the room she shares with Eli, closing the door behind.
