𝐄𝐋𝐈 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑 temples frustratedly as the unconscious body of her homeroom teacher is tied up in front of her in a chair. She wants answers. Now.

     “Douse him.”

She ordered to Umi, who had a bucket of ice water in hand, then made sure that her fox mask hid away any recognisable facial features.

Umi did as she was told, her hawk mask exposing the glimmers of her copper orbs, and Nagisa awakes, coughing and spluttering as water dripped off the ends of his blue hair and soaked black attire.

     “Shiota Nagisa.”

Eli says slowly, and the Fallen lifts his head up, azure eyes connecting sternly with Eli’s stern baby blue ones.

“Ayase Eli,” he smirks, and Eli tries not to let shock control her emotions, telling herself to keep still, calm, and composed, and she feels Umi tense up beside her.

“No use pretending, White Fox, I know who you are. Since the very beginning.” Nagisa says, leaning forward slowly, never once breaking their connection.

“You were the one who murdered Hitoshi-kun’s daughter, Miyo Nozoki, because she helped him find the girls he wanted to kidnap.” Nagisa regards her with a knowing look, and Eli quenches the thirst to punch his face in. “Isn’t that right?”

Eli doesn’t reply, and holds out a hand to Umi when she makes to retaliate.

“Now you may be wondering why I decided to join the Alliance,” Nagisa continues, and sighs. “I have no reason not to tell you, so I will. Hitoshi-kun has long been a friend of mine, and I don’t support the idea of you killing his daughter just because she was an accomplice.”
