Third Person POV
Mr. Medthanan met Can's dad at the door and pulled him inside.
"We have to be very careful what we say to them," said Mr. Medthanan, "both of them are feeling very rebellious right now and are in no state to listen to us or to do as we say."
"I hear you," said Can's dad.
They walked in the direction of the servants' quarter. Prasert walked ahead of them, carrying a big sledge hammer.
He stood outside of the door waiting for Mr. Medthanan's signal.
When Mr. Medthanan nodded to him, Prasert gave the door knob one big blow with the sledge hammer and it fell off. The two fathers rushed to open the door and then backed away.
Tin and Can were under the covers both shirtless and who knows what their clothing condition was under the covers. Tin and Can were in each others' arms and looked at their fathers like deer caught in the headlight.
All three men covered their faces with their hands, but with their fingers splayed open so that they could see through them.
Prasert was the first to recover from the shock.
"I'm sorry, young master!" he cried out to Tin, "your father threatened me with unemployment if I did not tell him where you were. I have a family to feed, young master. Please forgive me!"
Tin waved his hand to indicate to Prasert that it was okay.
Mr. Medthanan finally spoke up, "Cantaloupe! I can see you are in a very compromising position and situation with my son right now. Are you going to take responsibility for him?"
Can's dad also spoke up, "And you, big boy,"he said, looking directly at Tin, "I can see you have done something to my son. You had better take responsibility before I bring my shotgun long before your father can say 'boo'!"
"Dad!" both Tin and Can cried out, "we are going to take responsibility for each other but at our own pace and our own time!"
"Alright, boys," said Mr. Medthanan, "you had better put your clothes back on before your mother arrives and sees you in that state."
"She is not my mother," Can muttered under his breath.
"I heard that," said Mr. Medthanan, "she will be your mother the moment you tie the knot with her son."
Tin stole a glance at Can and tried to hide a smile.
"What's going on here?" asked Mrs. Medthanan as she approached the three men standing by the door of the servants' quarters.
Prasert ran and closed the door and stood guard in front of it.
"Will one of you please enlighten me as to what's happening here?" Mrs. Medthanan looked from her husband to Can's dad.
"You don't wanna know," said Can's dad.
At the same time, Mr. Medthanan replied, "Our son and his son are in there, making babies."
Mrs. Medthanan's eyes widened and her hand flew to cover her mouth.
When she recovered from the shock, she said, "If my first grandchild is a girl, I want her to be named after me."
"I don't think so," Can's dad protested. "Jasmine is a better name for a girl."
Mrs. Medthanan gave him a big pout, "You're only saying that because your wife's name is Jasmine."
"If we're going to have a baby girl for our first grandchild, my wife is going to insist for it to be named after her," Can's dad insisted.
The three grandparents-to-be did not notice that Tin and Can, who were now fully clothed, had been standing in the doorway listening to their arguments.
"Mom! Dad!" said Tin, "Can and I have agreed that if we have a girl, we will name it Candace, and her nickname will be Can. But if we have a boy, we will name it Justin and his nickname will be Tin."
All three grandparents-to-be decided it would be good to just keep their mouths shut.
