Recap:
"Pink hair? Green eyes??! I think I'm your neighbor, gramps told me about you!"
Sakura just looked at him with dawning comprehension.
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I'm going to be Hokage when I grow up! Believe it!"
That was the moment that Sakura Haruno met Naruto Uzumaki. A full three years earlier than expected.
"Umm, it's nice to meet you, Naruto-san. I'm Sakura Haruno." spoke Sakura
"Y-your not going to laugh at my dream?" said Naruto
Sakura wondered what he went through on a daily basis to even ask such a question. Maybe he is bullied? Judging from the importance the long term missions gave him, he should be pretty important... Why would someone like that ask that question?
{Sakura, this kid has gone through a lot of misfortune in life. I'm not saying to just be his friend just because he's been through a lot but, give him a chance. Don't listen to the rumors about him before you get to know him.}
[We were already planning on that! Right, Outer?]
'Yeah.'
Sakura at that moment, decided this Naruto guy needed a friend. She wouldn't let someone suffer again, CHAA!
Sakura smiled jokingly and said,
"Do you want me to laugh at your dream?"
"N-no, of course not. It's just that everyone always does except gramps.."
"Well, at this point I think you can add another person on your list, right? I'm sorry for knocking you over, but would you mind showing me to my apartment? It's Unit 3."
"Yes, I-I mean no, I wouldn't mind!"
Naruto began walking up the stairs of the apartment gesturing for Sakura to follow him. Sakura began following after him. There was a tranquil silence that brought calm to the mind.. Well, at least for a moment.
"You monster! Why is the Hokage-sama still keeping you alive?! You're a piece of trash that doesn't deserve to live in this village!"
"That's right! You demon child!"
Sakura was pretty much furious at this point. He already kind of counted as her friend, and some stupid drunks insulted him. Not to mention she really didn't even like this kind of thing even if the other party was a stranger.
[These bastards deserve to die!!!]
Navi showed her support in a somewhat silent way, but it displayed her rage well enough.
