June 23rd, Year ₪1038

A white dove soared over a forest filled country, leaving behind a feather to float down on its own.

The feather stared upon the many groups of houses and buildings that are overwhelmed by nature as gravity and the wind guided it down to the earth.

The feather fell in front of a small girl with a fragile body. The small girl had milky, rosy skin, straight silver hair that fell below her shoulders, and eyes with a unique and beautiful shade of lilac purple.

She bent over to pick up the feather and began to admire it, but the wind blew the feather from her soft grip. She then proceeded to walk into a forest, on the outskirts of the village named Ezame.

As she walked, she walked alone, away from the noise and action that comes from the main road of the village, where many people would gather around to sell their products, party, and where children would go to the mage academy.

The girl thought to herself; "I'd rather die than go to academy. I should spend my day walking around Ezame. Maybe I'll visit Jin. I don't really like academy."

She climbed up a hill with a lone tree standing tall on its peak. She rested her hand on the tree as she stared out to large plains that would be at the other side of the hill. She felt a carving in the tree, which read ,'黙示録は近い. 災難に注意してくれ

She got closer to the carving and attempted to read it.

"This is the writing system the people of the Kashi Empire use. We learned this in the 1st and 3rd years of academy.... Let's see.."

"Apocalypse is near. Beware of the calamity? What does that mean?" She mumbled to herself.

She sat under the tree and looked out to the horizon where the sun was peeking its head over.

Suddenly, she heard a footstep in the grass behind her, and after that sound there was nothing else.

She freezed, thinking, "I thought I was alone. What if it's an ambush?"

She quickly placed her left hand on the handle of her katana, which was tied to her hip by the belt of her dark blue kimono, the color which every mage student was required wear.

She used her thumb to lift the sword out of the sheath, and her right hand to draw out the sword completely, spinning around in attempt to decapitate her pursuer.

The pursuer stopped the blade with his hand as a golden light glowed from his palm.

The top of the blade broke, leaving the young girl in shock.

"Morgana, it's me!" The pursuer exclaimed.

The girl finally notices who was standing behind her. She sees her older brother, a young boy with a feminine face and slim body.

The sunrise makes his tan skin shine a golden color, and illuminates the purple eyes that they share.

The young girl jumps into her brother's arms with a smile on her face.

"Hi Keisen!" She exclaimed.

"Hey Morgana." Keisen replied as he hugged her back.

"What are you doing out of academy? Is there a war nearby?" He asked.

"None that I know of."

"Are you sick?"

"No."

"Do you need to see Master or Jin?"

"Not really."

"Then what is it?"
