I changed, again, my form, to get out of the building. After I was far away of the building, I returned to my original form and flied to the sector in which Lapis Lazulis live, in Blue Diamond's section of Homeworld. In the sky, I could see the city, roads and buildings of the Gem Empire. In that time, I felt proud of being part of the Gem Empire, believing that was perfect, above the rest of beings. I respected and loved my Blue Diamond.

I flied for some hours, enjoying how the air was feeling in my head and moving my hair. I landed in the sector in which Lapis Lazulis lives. I was welcomed by my Lapis Lazulis friends. You can imagine that is like "Hello Lapis!" "Hi Lapis!" "Long time no see Lapis" and that kind of stop, being always confusing if a Lapis is not calling a Lapis for another Lapis. I went to my friends, which were chatting.

-Oh, hi Lapis! How it went?- the Gem that was faking to be me asked.

I explained everything what happened in the reunion. I, however, kept my meeting with Pink Diamond for myself.

-Good job my Lapis!- my Lapis friend said.

-Thanks!- I said.

-I am very happy for you. Switching sides with you was the best things that we had thought- the Gem that was faking to be said.

-Well...talking about that...you will have to return to your position. I plan to leave Homeworld today to search the Great Mew- I said.

They looked at me very surprised. I understood their reaction.

-What, are you talking seriously!?- the Gem that was faking to be me said.

-I am very serious. I know everything that is produced by the Gem Empire and I think that the Great Mew is the only one that can develop my true potential and teach me the secrets of the universe- I said.

-And what is your plan exactly? You can't take a ship and the last time that you tried to leave the atmosphere of the Homeworld, your water wings went frozen and you almost hit the ground- Jasper said.

-I have been practiced the heating and freezing of the water and my water wings. I calculated the points of the Homeworld atmosphere in which the water evaporates and freeze, so, the only thing that I will need to do is heat the water when start to get cold and cold it when start to heat up- I explained.

-I can't argue against that logic- my Lapis friend said.

-Well, the only thing that I have to say is...I will miss being you!!! It was very funny to pretend being another Gem, also that is tiring having to study all the time and defend and argue with other Gems. I will miss having normal conversations with Gems- the Gem faking to be me said.

-And I will miss to defeat smart Gems- I said.

My friends laughed. I laughed a little bit. We talk for some time, until my Gem friend left, returning to her normal activities. After some time, my friend Lapis, her lover Jasper and I went away from the rest of the Lapis Lazulis. It was hard to say farewell to my friends, even if they like to be a fusion.

-So, I guess that this is the good-bye?- my Lapis friend asked.

-It will be only for some time. I promise that I will return, someday- I said.

-Well Lapis, I wish you the best of the lucks. If weren't for you, Lapis and I would be...shattered- Jasper said tacking the hand of my friend Lapis and getting fused, forming Malachite (well, since in that time the fusion Gems didn't existed and didn't have names, I called her fusion Jaspis).

-If weren't for you...we couldn't feel like right now...- Jaspis said crying.

Besides being a fusion, I felt pity for her. They truly loved each other, but it their/her very existence was forbidden in the Gem Empire. I flied and dried her tears.

-Don't cry Jaspis. Remember what I told you and you will be able to exist- I said.

-Separated- Jaspis sadly said.

-Yes, separated. But, if you think in the alternative, is better to live separated that getting shattered- I said.

-I know. We know- Jaspis said.

-Well, I leave you. Remember to be careful when you fuse- I said.

-Yes, I will- Jaspis said.

-Farewell my friends- I said flying up, at high speed.

-Farewell Lapis! And good luck!- Jaspis said.
