-Congratulations, Lapis Lazuli!!!- a voice said with a tone of happiness.
Then, Mew appeared from nowhere, in front of me. I was surprised. How did she knew where I was?
-Congratulations Lapis, you made it!- Mew said happy.
-How did you know that I was here?- I asked.
-I never left you- Mew said.
-WHAT!?- I said surprised.
-I can turn invisible. When I left you yesterday, I became invisible and returned to where you were to observe if you can do the challenge. So, what you learned from this challenge, Lapis?- Mew asked.
-Obviously I learned how to make fire. But, I also learned that the Gems aren't perfect, because we depend on other Gems to do some specific tasks and also that our arrogance impede us to learn useful knowledge from other beings, which we have to stop to undervalue them- I said.
-Excellent! You passed the challenge- Mew said happy.
-But, why? What was the goal of this challenge?- I asked.
-I really wasn't interested that you learn how to create fire. But, when I heard you that you called the beings of use of reason "savages", I thought what lesson you had to learn: humility. The Gems are arrogant. And I hate arrogance. The Gems have the annoying concept of thinking that they are superior to other beings, considering themselves as perfect beings, besides their society is full of fails and limitations that they created, which, in the future, will provoke the fall of the Gem Empire. Of course, if the Gems change their mentality, that will not happen, but the Gems are hard to change. All the Gems that came to me before you couldn't learn that and I rejected them. That's why I wanted that you learned some humility, so you can advance forward and learn new things that you couldn't learn with the prejudgments of the Gem society. With said, Lapis Lazuli, I accept you as my disciple. I see great potential on you and I know that you will achieve great things- Mew said.
With that, I became the disciple of the Great Mew, knowing and doing things that I thought that I couldn't do.
