I'm a capable fighter, I have my family drama's. Mostly from Business, You see my dads semblance is manipulating stuff. But my mums, Well I don't know much since she ran away when I was very young,

But from what I've heard? I've heard that my mum has the power to hide things per say from people... She can make people forget things.
I know very little but i think it works similarly to that she can't just erase those things but she can lock them until that person is strong enough to regain those things.

if it be memories.

Powers... Or even faunus traits. But all of those are just rumors I've heard i know. Which leaves me to believe that even if i searched for my mum i wouldn't be able to find her.

Or if i did she'd make me forget it.

But, Seeing as some people from other academies are starting to gather at beacon for the Vytal Festival.. Meaning more business for my family.
I'll start to put aside my problems and focus back on the interesting events happening in front of me.

There was a board game or whatever everyone was playing, But suddenly Blake had left. She seems caught up on something but i dont think it's my place to talk to her about it, Seems personal.
We got back to the dorm and not even that far after Blake went to leave. "Stop"

Ice queen had pointed at Blake "Lately you've been quiet, Anti Social and moody"

Weiss kept talking, She mentioned a promise, Blake would let them know if something was wrong. What i'm really hoping right now, Is that Blakes not regretting us becoming a thing. Its just strange how shes all of a sudden...

Being stranger than usual.

And besides we haven't told anyone about us yet. Weiss stood balancing on a chair to get taller than blake and asked what was wrong.

"I just.. I don't understand how everyone can be so calm!"

Ruby stepped up "Your still thinking about Torchwiq?"

"The White Fang! Torchwiq! All of it, Something big is happening and no one is doing anything about it"

I looked away from Blake, She wasn't the only one hiding stuff from the team.. I'm hiding something too.

Few months Before -

"Liam you need to tell me whats going on!" It was raining. And storming.

He looked sad, I turned towards Ozpin, My father and Glynda, "P...please tell me" I felt tears stream down my face at that point in time. I couldn't believe it, I couldn't understand the situation!

I didn't want to accept it.

"(F/n) its not the right time for you to know" Ozpin tried to reassure me again, My dad growled lowly. "If the brat wants to know so badly then why dont we tell her huh?!" He yelled in a manner that wasn't angry at Oz.. More angry with me.

"Your mum was just a tool, I used her! I used her to create a child worthy of becoming a maiden"

Ozpin and Glynda looked towards my father angrily "Theres No way! You didn't even know she'd have a chance at being the next maiden"
I looked down to the ground, I was thankful Glynda had said something but what i said next is what i think made her hate me so much.

"N..No... I understand.. I'm just a tool.. I.. Only had one purpose... That's all I needed to hear"

My face darkened, My eyes felt cold.. Empty some would say.
"No child should be treated like that! You shouldn't accept this I wo--" She was cut off by Ozpin.

"The girl made her choice Glynda" Glynda looked at me with sadness, She was angry.. I always felt like i could open up to Glynda she was like a.. mother...

to me.

My father walked over kicking me in the face, Motioning for Liam to do nothing as My dad is his boss after all. "As soon as that bastard mum of yours dies theres no doubt you'll gain her powers"

Blood streamed down my face,

I was a tool, I am a tool.. Built for the soul purpose of power.

Ozpin and Glynda hadn't left yet, They looked back at me and spoke.

"And as for my past with Salem... You mustn't tell anyone. And please (F/n) Just know that when the time comes at beacon, And it feels like we aren't doing anything. Just know we are"

"Especially trying to find your mother"

I looked back to the ground as everyone around me slowly started to leave and disappear.

Back to now -

I was speechless, I zoned out and all i could hear was Ruby running out to get her board game. I looked out the door to see she had ran into three people. I recognize them from dads business.. A fourth came out with them.

Jessica.

"(F/n)!!!! Wow your up this late? You used to never stay up!" I stepped out. Clearing my throat.

I rolled my eyes at Jessica "Cinder? What are you all--"

Ruby's eyes beamed at me "They're exchange students!" The rest of the team had also walked out. "Oh is that so? I wasn't informed you were becoming a huntress"

I stepped up to cinder eyeing her, I knew something was going on. "Thats because your father wasn't aware either"

Cinder pushed past me an Jessica followed on, She whispered into my ear "Seems someones catching on" and kept on going.

After everyone had passed us i cursed under my breath. "What was that all about, The tension was high between you guys" Blake put a hand on my shoulder asking me.

"They're up to something, I can't say much... But i know them from my dads business"

I ran away. I heard blake calling for me to come back but i couldn't I had to make some calls to my father... I hated calling him but he would have to know something right? It'd just make sense for him to know something about them.

They're business partners! I find it hard to believe that they're huntresses in training, She just has bad vibes about her. And she was with Jessica? Jessica must know something, And she knows I'm suspicious of her...
