"Well, what is it?" Mitch asks with a smile. He hasn't seen Kirstie this excited since she got accepted into college, four years ago.
Kirstie shrugs with a smile, "I may have just won two tickets to the next concert in Dallas."
Mitch looks at her in shock. They've never had good luck with things like these, so it was a big deal. He felt two tiny hands grab his shirt and his mind went back to his son. Leo wasn't a kid that demanded attention from many people, but when his daddy came home, all he wanted was attention from him. Mitch quickly took his son's hands into his own, keeping the tiny hands as warm as he could. He picked his son back up, missing the comfort he was given when they cuddled, before giving Kirstie a small smile. Kirstie smiles back and turns back around to the living room to find her items before saying goodbye and leaving the two alone.

Mitch opened the door, hoping to get to the concert as soon as he could. Nel and Mike immediately took Leo from his arms and grabbed the small bag Mitch had packed for him. They didn't exchange many words with their son since they knew whom he was going to watch. They knew that he and Kirstie had no clue but once they saw the number of people around them, they might figure out. They left with Leo, leaving Mitch to finish getting ready. Mitch heard his door click open and the click of heels walking on the wooden floorboards towards the bathroom. Kirstie then showed up in the view of his mirror, with makeup perfectly applied and not a hair out of place. She wore a black dress with tiny lipsticks patterned on it, a leather jacket over her shoulders and tall black leather-look-alike heels.
She rushed forward and hugged Mitch, taking over what he was doing with his hair and fixing it to sit perfectly over his face. Mitch gave a small smile to her, to show her that he was okay. She smiled and nodded back, giving him another quick hug before pulling away, grabbing his hand. Mitch allowed her to pull him out of the apartment, she was excited and he would admit that he was pretty excited as well. Kirstie had a pretty tight hold on his arm and was probably leaving red marks, but he didn't care. He wanted to have a fun night with her, even if it was an artist that he didn't like.
The pack that Kirstie had won, gave the two front row tickets to the concert, as well as a private meet and greet with the artist. They got a car sent outside of Mitch's apartment and to their surprise, it was a party bus. Now having two people on a party bus didn't seem ideal, but when they saw all the other winners of the pack, they felt a bit better. There were about seven other people on the party bus, all of them looked equally as excited as the two newer ones, but they seemed like they knew everything that was happening.
"Are you excited to see him as well, he's so hot!" A teenage girl squeals to her friend, showing her a photo on her iPhone. Her friend nods, she seems anxious to go, worried that something may go wrong during the short time that they get to meet the rising artist. The teenage girl is more excited than anything. She moved a lot in her seat, the excitement showing in her body language. While she sat in excitement, her friend looked down, fiddled with her fingers and bit her bottom lip. Anxiety was radiating off the poor girl, and everyone on the large party bus could feel it.
The party bus pulled into a parking spot right next to another, larger bus. It looked around the same, except it had tinted windows and small details around the sides. The door was wide open, with some people walking in and out of the door, going in with empty hands and coming out with a hair straightener, or for some reason, a whole box of cereal. Mitch was in shock by how busy it was, he never thought that it would take so many people to have a tour. Kirstie, on the other hand, acted like it was completely normal. She looked around in excitement but watched as everything happened around her.
Everyone quickly got off the party bus, obviously excited to see the artist perform. Mitch and Kirstie were the last ones to get off the bus. They quickly looped arms and stood together as a tall, skinny girl with straight brown hair talked to everyone about what they could and couldn't do. The group of people quickly understood what she was explaining and then proceeded to follow her through the double door. It was even more chaotic behind the double doors. People walking everywhere, boxes stacked upon boxes and signs hanging all over the walls. They were all led into a large room with a table in one corner. The table had small bags on it and they were all told to sit down and get comfy while they waited for the artist.
Mitch and Kirstie sat and scrolled through Twitter and Instagram on their phones, while others just sat and talked in excitement. Suddenly a light knock echoed through the room and every head turned towards the doorway, where a tall blonde god stood.
