" Oh, hey" I waved my hands at her and nearly threw up as her face mask was not nearly done. I found myself looking at a half skeletonic robot with a face splashed on. I flinched and tripped over the toolbox and hit my head on the wall.

And I got all dizzy.

Great...I'm losing connection with the world.

And basically a moment later, I passed out. Poor young me. Could have said it earlier...

" Jason? Wake up!!" Stace Collet's voice echoed in my ear. I woke up to find her back to normal. She lifted me from the bed I was in and hugged me.

Jeamie was lying near me, asleep. I held Stace as I felt the softness of human skin as I realised that I woke from the dream I had.

" I had a really weird dream. A really weird one. But guess it's gone, huh?" I rubbed my eyes to try and wipe the insomnia.

A hint. The key word was TRY.

She smiled and stomped her foot on the ground. It wedged itself right in. " Guess I was dreaming about dreaming, huh?"

GREAT. INCEPTION DENIED.

She nodded with a smile and just paused for a moment with an expecting look on her face. She looked at me in sunrise and asked," Well?"

I turned the cogs in my flimsy brain until I got the answer. " Y-yo-you look amazing!?"

" That's..." She tilted her head from side to side.

" Good. I think" She laughed as I saw the improvement Aria made to the SPRIT. It was a massive, I mean massive improvement. The skeletal structure was having a lot of drivers which made it able to show even the tiniest alterations in the jaw or face.

I thought she was a warrior, not a robotic genius.

" How long are you gonna gape at her, you pervert!?" Aria pushed me aside and then plucked up Jeamie gently, only to plop her in my arms. She rubbed her nose and said," I've got something to ask Dr.Collet. You two spend some quality time. GET OUT!"

Out of your way, Tsundere...

She pressed her hand against Jeamie's cheeks. " You never paid much attention to her ever since you found me..." She pulled me in for a kiss and I didn't resist.

Please don't drop her, me...

" Take care of her. She's sick"

Only then did I realise why she had been do down for the past few days. Her forehead was hot to the touch and she had a faint dark circle around the bottom of her eye.

She hadn't been sleeping well lately.

I carried her in my arms back to the main cabin and let her rest on the couch while I went to find a wet towel to cool it down. She called me several times in her sleep as I replied each time," I'm here, my angel"

I know it's weird...

Don't ask...

It just feels right.

I took me five minutes to find one in that space, and I exchanged the towels from wet to dry to wet for almost a dozen times before the fever calmed down and her sleep moans for enchiladas stopped.

I tucked her tight into her bed and closed the door with a faint," Sweet dreams". " I love you too" I heard her reply in her sleep. Of course that put a smile on my face.

" Love you too, Jeamie"

How did she just hear me in her sleep?

An hour later, Aria and Stace exited the workshop with smoke bellowing out.

" WHAT HAPPENED." I asked in a panic induced demand as I was concerned that they hurt themselves.

" Made some major. Upgrades!" Aria announced, pride sprayed all over her face. She snapped her fingers with a sinister look and my sseemingly self adopted sister, Collet dashed right in front of me with a maniacally evil look, slamming into my body with my mind screaming something like," HEEEELPPP!!"

But something was different...

Her body was not hard but somehow spongy. I pinched her skin and saw that it was denser opposed to shallower. She had some sort of a track suit on her, just with a few modifications.

" I used a grind to slowly chip away the surface up, just a little. But it may affect her durability and it makes her more vulnerable." She knocked her knuckle on Stace's arm.

" But that's what makes us human, isn't it?"

I nodded, surprised by her sudden change.

" Um... H-Hey, Jason?" Collet called out to me.

I turned in her direction and saw her eyes relaying a secret message, her electric eye beeping silently.

Medication time...

" Yeah! You're hungry right? You've been here too long. Get some food you dumb child!" I nudged her, trying not to cause any suspicion. She nodded excitedly, playing along and we fooled Aria, just like that.

FALL FOR IT!!!!

" I'll be back soon!" Stace, my sister said with a worried tone of elation which worried me as well, worrying why she was worrying and if there was any cause to be worrying which was really worrying.

I know what I meant...

Don't be worried. There's not a need for worry.

She planted a well placed kiss on my forehead as mean and Aria bid our farewell to Stace Collet, unsure of when she would return, if at all.

" So..." I aasked the girl beside me bluntly as Stace went back to the room to end transmission.

She tilted her head, towards my side and landed a perfect kiss on my lips. " I don't know myself. Why don't you say one? You did a good job."

She looked at bit mad.

My mind whirred at the speed of lightning before jumping to an answer.

" Why don't we stargaze?"

The look she gave me when I said those words was impossible to decipher. It wasn't a smile or a smirk. Not a grin or a frown. Not one you make when you are sad.

But it had a hint of disappointment.

Like she wanted something else.

While we were out, she suddenly sighed and placed her hand on top my chest and pushed me to the ground. " Why don't we something a little more fun?" She said with a seductive smile on her face similar to when she said, " I don't take no for an answer"

Only then did I realise something late for a second time.

She wanted something more. MORE than a kiss...

OH. GAWD.
