i put on my shoes and started to pack my small black book bags i packed a charger and some money and a water bottle i opend my phone and saw i missed a text from zion

i closed my phone and waited for brandon to tell me he's on his way
*the mall* we all sat at the cafe waiting for zion, brandon and nick were talking about a teacher they hated and me and tori were talking about stores we should go to "hey guys meet ashlyn hammer" zion smirked and a girl with long blond hair and wearing a jean jump suit with a white shirt under it smiled at us "hi" her new york accent rang her gum smacked against her lips as she gave all of us a hug "baby this is nick mara and his girlfriend tori this is kelsey and her boyfriend brandon" zion said to ashlyn and she nodded and waved at all of us "well we should go to the shops" i said and we all got up and we walked to the shops brandon grab my hand "play along with me remember we are a fake couple" he laughed i smiled and we continue to walk "oh shit man there's a new store let's go" ashlyn smiled zion grab her hand too once he saw my and brandon hands intertwined "hey brandon" he looked at me "yes" he answered "your cute" i smiled and tap his nose he smiled and kissed my check i look at zion who had his jaw clench "so forever 21 huh" tori laughed as i smiled and we walk inside i picked out some shirts as brandon and nick looked in the boys section "so are you talking to me now" zion said as he came from behind me i laughed and kept looking "k look what i said was wr-" i cut him off and turned around to face him "what you said wasn't wrong it was hurtful it, it hurt me zion i have feelings shocking since you just crushed them and don't understand what you said, you just told me all those late night talks all those birthdays and Halloween and holidays all those rides to school where we just sat in the car during first period and listen to music, all those secrets all those tears were nothing to you.i never meet anything to you" i looked at him and he started to tear "all because you find out that after all those hours, days, night, years, minuets, i caught feelings for someone i relate so much too and shared so much with" i started to cry "sorry that i let my feelings get in the way but you know what zion what you said wasn't the bees knees ether you crushed me you crushed this friendship so i don't know zion if we are friends because right now your just stranger to me" i say and walk out do the store leaving zion there
zion pov "right now your just a stranger to me" she left as nick walked up to me and tori ran after her. her words stuck to me as a knife to my back, as if the word stranger had a new fucking meaning to it. "uh how about we call it a day and go back to my house" he asked i nodded and we started walking out. it was almost like a movie where after a war you see the character walk out and see all the damage done in slow motion. as i walked out i saw tori and brandon surround kelsey who was on the floor, i saw ashlyn walk out of the mall i watched as kelsey cry and cry , all because of my dumb words i know i never meet and what she said to me back in that store was nothing but correct, i just used her.
me and nick got in the car and headed towards his house "you okay" he said i nodded and looked out of the window, cars and trees past as i thought about what i said to kelsey "zion " nick said as he stopped in front of his house i nodded and walked out of the car closing the door tori and kelsey were walking in to kelsey house as i looked and watched her open the door lily walked out and smiled and waved at me i did the same as kelsey pulled her back in to the house and tori shut the door "i fucked up mara" i said nick patted my back and we walked in side his house and nick closed the door.
