i took a sip of my water and gave some to lily as we waited for zion and nick to come back with the check for the food we just devoured. i looked over at lily as she finished her fires, when lily was 4 our father left us when he left us lily was confused and upset. our father meet everything to her and too know that someone can just walk out on you like that is why she only looks up to the people that i look up too, so when zion came in to our lives she looked up to him as if he was an older brother figure and zion treated her like a little sister he always wanted. when lily turned 13 our dad tried to come back in our lives but zion told him off which made lily look up to him more, i would hate me and zion friendship to get worse and lily loses another person in her life.
"can you stop looking at me weirdo" lily said and cut me off my thoughts i notice zion and nick came back i rolled my eyes and took a fry from her. i looked at zion was counting money "uh 53.00 is the check, i'll put in 15" nick said i put 24 for me and lily zion put 13 and tori put 14 "okay cool beans we are don't here ya go" nick said as he grabbed tori hand as they went to go pay "how have you been" zion asked as he took some of lily fries, shrugged i honestly been spending the last 3 days laying in bed. "she's been in bed and not getting up even when mama calls her, she's been lazy and hasn't even texted arreaga, or you" lily said as she munched on a her crispy fries, i gave her a death glare as zion smirked "so you've missed me" he looked at me and before i can answer nick comes up to the table "sooo what ride is next" he smiles wide at lily, she knew what was going to happen "odds that you won't go on kingda ka" nick said she laughed and pointed at him "your a funny one mara" she laughed i laughed as zion picked her up "no odds she's going on the ride" zion flung her over his shoulders and made his way to the ride. me and tori stood behind knowing we wanted nothing to do with that "i'm not gonna go on babe but you have fun" tori said and kissed his check he nodded and looked at me "i'm not gonna go on mara but you have fun" i said copying the tone of tori voice he rolled his eyes and headed towards zion and my yelling sister "poor lily" tori said as we watched lily try to reach us "don't die i need to take you home"i waved bye to lily and blew her a kiss before zion turned and we couldn't see her and all we can heard is her screaming "where you wanna go" tori smiled as we walked i pointed to the super hero store "let's get capes" is smiled tori nodded and headed inside and started looking around.
me and tori looked around as if we haven't seen these capes before, every year me and tori say 'let's get capes' and guess what we never get 'capes' i grabbed lily a flash cape since its her favorite super hero
tori grabbed nick a superman cape and she grabbed herself a pink superman cape
i grabbed a joker cape for zion and for myself i grabbed a harley quinn cape
"ready" tori said i nodded and we headed for the registers.
we paid and we headed towards the door, me and tori put out capes on and walked towards kingda ka "so you and zion" tori said throwing her cape over her shoulders "what about us" i asked and connected me together "well you guys are friends again" she says and i nod, i mean that was the best part about everything even though me and zion been through a lot we can always bump right back to each other even if i can't stand him any more "i guess we are" as we watch lily come running to us "you. have. to . go .on . that.ride" she takes breaths between the words as tori laughs handing her the cape from my hands "here you go" she says and lily smile putting it on "barry allen" she smiles to herself as zion and nick walk over "how was the ride" tori asked hanging nick his cape "shit was wild" zion says and starts making sound stop describe it to us "and then it was like WOOO" he says throwing his hands up and lily laughs doing the same "well im glad you liked it, here's your cape" i hand zion his cape "awe the joker and harley quin the best couple ever" lily says and smiles to herself "or the bestest friends ever" i say and zion nods throwing his arm over my shoulders.
the rest of the six flag adventure was rides after rides "okay it's getting late let's get going" tori says looking at her phone lily nods as she yawns and nick smiles as he throws an arm over her "let's get miss allan home to mr allan" she says and lily smiles "oh boy i wish" she says and zion laughs as we walk out. lily climbs in the back seat and me and tori in the front "baby i'll drive home" tori says to nick who was already sleeping in the back seat "how was today" tori asked as we pull out of the six flags "it was nice" i say and turn around and see all three of them sleeping
zion pov the car bumped and i was awaken "i mean me and zion will never work out, he obviously just wants to be friends and i respect that, we have an amazing friendship why ruin it" i hear kelsey say "i mean yes but if your feelings come back or if your feelings are still present, do you think you can just forget them" tori asked and i look at kelsey who shrugs "go with the flo i guess" she says and i see her look out the window that was open a crack so the breeze made her hair fly. as i looked in to the side mirror i saw how beautiful she was, she wasn't like tori who was beautiful because of makeup she was her own natural beauty i'm surprised i never even noticed, i was caught staring and she smiled at me through the mirror "good morning sleepy head "she turns around and smiles at me "how far are we from home" i asked and she looks at the navigation "we decided to stop by a dinner" tori says and i nod "we should be there in a few mins waking up nick and lily" kelsey asked and i nod, i shook lily a little bit and she woke up so did nick "we are going out to eat" i whisper and she nods and looks out nicks window since she was in the middle.
