It was a dark and quiet night in the city of Vale, with the shattered moon shining brightly down on the city. All that could be heard were the passing cars driving down the streets. There were some people out walking by the sidewalks, whether just going for a stroll, or going out to shop for things.
Among the crowd of people on the sidewalks were two young men. One wearing an odd black attire, while the other wearing a red jacket, with long black jeans; making him look like part of some gang. These two weren't ordinary people, they were born fighters. With weapons strapped on their backs. One with a rod, and the other with a shield. The two continued their walk to wherever they were going as they had a conversation with each other."Hey Pleto," said Red, the one with the gang like getup, with his hands behind his head. "You ever wonder why the moon looks like that? All shattered and all?"
Pleto, the one in the black attire, looked up, giving a shrug, "Well, we know that the shattered pieces are still in its orbit, that's why they aren't floating away, but no one knows how it became like that."
Red looked at the moon with a curious looked, "Well, whatever, I'm just getting bored of walking all night is all. You do know where we're going, right?"
Pleto nodded, "Yes, I know. I was told it was on the shady part of town. If I'm correct, that's not very far now."
"Shady huh? As in like, the kind of place with gangs, and criminal records?"
"What else? Why you ask, you itching to get back into action?"
Red took his shield off his back, admiring it's crimson metallic color. He lightly stroked the sharpened edges of the shield, feeling how sharp they were. "Of course man. It's been too long since we had action. I wanna do something! All this searching is starting to bore me."
Pleto just chuckled, "Of course you do. Well, don't worry. Where we're going, that time is soon."
As they walked, they began to hear some loud booming noise. They immediately knew that was the place they were heading to. They soon came up to the building where all the loud music was going on.
"Whelp, this the place. Come on, let's head in." said Pleto motioning Red to come, but Red did not. He just stood with his arms crossed.
"So, is there like, some sort of rave going on in their, like a dance party?" He asked.
"Well, yeah. I mean, does the loud booming music not give it away?" Right as Pleto said that, he knew what Red meant. "Oh...right. Just hang out here then, I won't be long." he said.
Red just walked up to the side of the building and leaned against it with his arms back, looking calm and cool. "Go wild in there then." He said giving Pleto a grin.
Pleto returned with a smile, "Don't get into trouble." he replied, and he entered the club.
When Pleto entered the club, the music was much louder indoors as expected. There were stage lights all over the ceiling, some on rotating rings. The dance floor was exceptionally big, filled to the brim with people dancing and having a good time. Each corner of the dance floor had pillars made of what looked to be glass. Among the crowd of people, there were a bunch of people wearing the same outfit. Black tuxedos with red ties, along with fedoras, and red shades. There were all armed with axes, and Pleto had to admit, that didn't seem very settling for those looking to have a good time here.
To his left, there was a bar with more of those people running it. There was also a man with a different yet similar outfit to theirs. With that person were two identical ladies; one with a white dress, and the other with red. He must be a higher-up compared to all the other people here. He looked like the right person to ask, so Pleto walked up to him. When he got up to the bar area he was already given looks by people. He wasn't surprised, he was seventeen so usually he wouldn't be in this area, but Pleto wasn't here for a drink.
