Chapter 22

Minghao and I Arrive at the dorms after my hospital check-up. It's quiet inside and no one seems to be home, weird there wasn't really something planned today. Even thought everyone was gone you could still feel the depressed aura through the room. Minghao had found a note on the table while I was still looking around at the aura we all created, "They are training you've got to be kidding me?!" "hmm" Minghao's voice got me out of my own thoughts. I needed a few seconds to realize what he just had said "we have to go there as well it said" "me too" "yes" "oh okay" I follow Minghao who led me towards the practice studio. As we enter everyone is on the dancefloor looking at us as we come in. Seungkwan starts waving at us we have to join, Christian comes over to me "how was it? you okay?" "yes everything was alright it was just uh.. the doctor wasn't that smart" Christian looks confuses and Minghao gives a little giggle. "HELLOO" Seungkwan calls out and waves us back to the group. "I can't handle the depressing mood in the house so what way to get closer than do some dancing together [y/n] show us something!!" Seungkwan is always so excited, he really couldn't take it anymore so planned the to lift up the mood he was a star in getting the group together. I smile at how sweet it is from Seungkwan to do this "so show us" taken back to reality Seungkwan comes back on his question I had to dance "oh no, I-I really can't dance" I lied, I still knew some things from when I was younger but I'm just not good anymore. "are you sure?" Wonwoo teased, he was beside Christian the only one who saw my video and knew about my past. "I-I can't.." Soonyoung sat on the ground looking for some music we could dance on, Chan watched over the older boys shoulder. "but I really can't dance" I pouted. "don't worry we will stand next to you" Jun smiles like an angel but I'm not sure if it is more comfortable to dance as a piece of shit between those stars.

Soonyoung finds a song he thinks is nice he gives Chan a look who nods. Soonyoung taps the song and TT from Twice starts playing. Everyone makes space for me to dance but I just look shy and confused somehow scared into the big wall filling mirror in front of me. When they start to sing Chan and Seungkwan join who of course know the song. I look at the boys their dances as I start moving my head along with the music. Maybe, just maybe I should give dancing a try again. Dances don't have marks anymore these guys are showing that. You don't have to be a female or male to do this dance or any other one. Soonyoung joins as well. I take a deep breath and close my eyes who am I to care what everyone else thinks. I slide forward right before the chorus and start dancing from there, the moves that I know from this song and some moves I can remember. Christian smiles when I finally join this was me being myself feeling comfortable. Wonwoo knew I could dance he has a soft smile on his face almost proud. All other seem somehow surprised by how easy I move along with the other boys, I meet Chan's eyes who is smiling at me I smile back as I continue the dance. It's fun, yes I'm having fun. "Noona Hyung! You're doing great!!" when the song end I fall down on my knees, covering my ashamed, blushing yet smiling face with my hands.

There are more songs coming on and everyone started to join. I smile we all seem to have fun again. All units do a little dance on their own and even Jihoon joins the group now. Christian and I do a little duet together, we used to dance more often together but when I lost confidence in myself that I could actually dance we started to quit with it. we dance all together till the end of the afternoon and all go back together to eat dinner.

Mingyu and Seokmin were already on their way to the kitchen when Seungcheol stopped them. "I think we should celebrate this moment all together and accept that things and leave them in the past Hansol, Christian, [y/n] I hope you agree" Seungcheol hands out his hands like some sort of god. I nod as I look at the two boys stand beside me they both smile. Seungcheol somehow disappointed that no one held his hand or hugged him. "Jeonghan and I thought about it and we take you all out for dinner" the boys start cheering and Hansol hugged me. "don't worry I'm alright" he whispers in my ear, I smile finding it great to hear he is doing better. We all leave to the restaurant together for a Korean BBQ.
