Chapter -5

Neil's POV:

When I was coming back from class I saw Avni and her friends going somewhere. Then a handsome young man came and started talking to them. He was talking  looking at Avni and she seems to look uncomfortable.Wait why is he looking at her like a candy? I am not getting good vibes from him. Ohh Neil stop being possessive. It's a college. She gets uncomfortable if someone new talks to her.

Soon a group of girls came and one among them started shouting at her stating that she came here to trap young boy and she is wasting her parents' money. Why is she blaming her, when he was the one who was talking to her. Avni is looking sooo scared and that girl raised her hands on my angel. Avni closed her eyes anticipating her hands to kiss her cheek.Before I could react I saw another young boy who caught her hand and said

" Stop it Rhea. What did she do ? I have never seen her talking to anyone."

Students who were walking in their tracks stopped and then started crowding there to know what's going on.

Rhea- " How will she talk her sound system is already damaged?"

Boy: " Enough Rhea. You can't insult her like that "

And Avni's face was filled with tears 😭

Rhea- " Oh Ali. You are also trapped in her drama. You don't know about her. She is a bad luck to everyone. "

Ali- "Stop it. "

Rhea- " Why are you supporting this lowlife ?"

I felt this was going out of control. If this continues she will be hurt more and I cannot afford seeing my angel in pain. So I interrupted.

Neil- " Students What's going on here? Everyone go to your classes. Avni, Sunheri, Tara ,Sitara come to my cabin. "

Avni had fear in her eyes. She thought that action will be taken against her. How can I do something like that where there is no mistake of her?

Soon they entered my cabin.

Neil- " What happened there ? " I enquired softly not to scare them.

Tara - " Sir we were going to library that time Vaishnav came there and talked to us casually. He has never seen Avni so he asked what her name was. Before any of us could answer Rhea interrupted and started creating a scene. We didn't do anything wrong sir . Please believe us sir"

Avni was standing there  and crying 😭.

Neil- " It's okay Avni. I believe you . Why are you crying? Learn to stand for yourself young lady. Don't let others blame you unnecessarily. "
Sunheri- " Rhea has been doing this since she has joined here. Avni is scared of her."

Neil- " If she troubles you anymore tell to me . I can handle it in my own way ."

Avni started showing something but I was not able to understand. I need to learn this sign language soon else how will I be able to talk to her in future. Every time I can't take Sunheri's help right ? What am I thinking ? May be Bebe can help me. I made a mental note . I looked at Sunheri to help me.

Sunheri - "Sir she is telling that I have no complaints against anyone. It's was my mistake only . Whatever she told was true. What are you telling Avni? "
